Relativity Space has kept quiet since the takeover by @ericschmidt, but I'm continuing to hear anecdotal, but good things about their progress. A viable Terran R solves a lot of problems for the US commercial space industry.

🚨 ANALYST AT SAUDI TELECOM COMPANY (STC) BREAKS DOWN $ASTS’S COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE! 📡🇸🇦🛰️
A Technical Solutions Analyst at Saudi Telecom Company (stc) just published an in-depth breakdown of AST SpaceMobile’s Spectrum Strategy!
Key takeaways on why $ASTS holds a massive technical moat:
• Multi-Band Strategy: Combining terrestrial MNO cellular frequencies with Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) spectrum (L-band & S-band) to balance total coverage and network capacity.
• Overcoming Heavy Physics: Managing propagation losses, Doppler effects, and smartphone uplink limits using advanced beamforming and frequency reuse.
• Scalable Architecture: Having spectrum isn't enough—$ASTS translates its spectrum portfolio into sustainable, commercial-grade throughput.
When senior technical analysts at Tier-1 operators like stc publicly highlight AST SpaceMobile's superior architecture, it shows where the telecom industry is placing its focus.

$ASTS | Christel Heydemann, CEO of Orange, during the Q3 2026 earnings call:
“Last week we signed, together with Deutsche Telekom Telefónica and Vodafone, a letter of intent to prepare a potential joint bid for the future allocation of spectrum for mobile satellite services in Europe. The initiative supports the European Commission's ambition to strengthen Europe's sovereignty, security, and resilience in critical connectivity infrastructure. Overall, we see satellite connectivity as a core complement to our networks to provide coverage completeness and resilience. Also in terms of innovative growth, Orange Business obtained a new Secnum Cloud qualification, extending its portfolio of trusted cloud offers. Orange Business was also selected to provide the European Union's backbone network for trusted data exchange. Our Maxit in Middle East Africa keeps gaining traction, with 38.5 million active users.”
“On the satellite and MSS spectrum, as we commented, we signed a letter of intent with Deutsche Telekom, Telefónica, and Vodafone to potentially bid for one part of the MSS spectrum that is being auctioned end of 2027 for implementation in 2029. The bid for this spectrum would then be open and wholesale to all telecom operators in Europe. We see MSS spectrum really as a complement to our terrestrial network. As we've always said, for us, the key element will be the customer experience and the handover from terrestrial to satellite and back and forth between our networks, which really requires mastering both side of the experience, working also on the end sets. This is really the way we see it. When it comes to the bid and the consortium to bid for spectrum, it's still early stage, so we can't provide you more details. Again, the process is second half of 2027, so we will provide more detail as soon as we have.”
“On satellite, you are right to mention we launched this first offer a year ago, actually, with Skylo in France. As you know, we are testing several solutions. We are also testing Starlink in Spain. We have a pilot under preparation in Romania with AST. When it comes to the Skylo offer, we've been able to test the willingness for customers and the appetite in the market for this type of offer. That being said, the Skylo experience, given its geostationary solution and it was only available on a few devices, was as expected. It was for us a test in the market to test the appetite, to position ourselves on this segment. However, we plan to continue to add especially more device options, given it was limited to only customers buying this new Pixel devices which was a very small part of the market.”

$QS just posted a role for a Director of Government Relations in Washington. Brand-new position, reporting straight to the CFO.
On the ER, Siva said QS was looking for non-dilutive funding for the 100 MWh line, including from the government.
What stood out most to me in the posting is the phrase “factory-scale capital.” To me, QS is already thinking beyond 100 MWh.
The posting is pretty clear about what they want: land prototype funding fast, go after factory-scale capital, and have a say in US battery policy.
They’re targeting the DOE, DARPA, DIU, DPA Title III, and even the Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital. They also want the tech recognized as critical to get a real line in the defense budget. And push for US government battery purchasing to require non-China content.
Of course, a job posting doesn’t mean funding secured, and these programs take time. The funding plan is expected with Q4 results.

$ASTS granted 5 days STA extension to test on Grain spectrum.Quick grant.
They originally asked 30d extension (it says so in the Form) which is the standard period for STAs
Probably got 5d after a call because thats what they need. The spectrum is being sold by Grain to SpaceX.

$ASTS: 🚨BLUE ORIGIN ON TRACK TO RESUME NEW GLENN PAD OPS IN NOVEMBER
@outerspacetoday: Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin is targeting a return to New Glenn launch-pad operations in November, following a catastrophic rocket explosion that damaged its Cape Canaveral launch complex in May.
According to Aviation Week, Blue Origin has completed reconstruction of its 430-foot Vehicle Access Tower at Launch Complex 36, a major milestone toward resuming launches.
The May 28 explosion occurred during a preflight engine test, destroying the rocket and damaging critical ground infrastructure. Blue Origin subsequently traced the failure to an oxygen-valve issue in one of its BE-4 engines.
Rather than rebuilding the original launch configuration, the company is introducing a new system that integrates rocket stages horizontally before lifting the vehicle onto the launch pad.
Blue Origin is still targeting a return to flight before the end of 2026, although no launch date has been confirmed.
The recovery is critical to New Glenn's growing commercial and government launch commitments, including NASA's Artemis lunar program.

$ASTS: 🇪🇺 The EU is looking to reallocate 60MHz of 2GHz S-Band spectrum by May 2027. The current holders are Viasat and Echostar in 15+15MHz blocks.
EU regulators have already indicated that the plan is to divide the spectrum into 3x 10+10MHz blocks.
1⃣The first block is expected to be allocated to Europe's IRIS^2 constellation, which will focus on fixed wireless broadband connectivity.
2⃣The second block is expected to be allocated to the European JV consisting of Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica and Vodafone, which will focused on direct-to-device broadband connectivity in partnership with Satellite Connect Europe, which includes AST SpaceMobile as the satellite provider.
3⃣The third block is reserved for an international operator. It is expected that SpaceX will pursue this allocation, however it's possible AST may pursue it as well. TO BE VERY CLEAR, I still think there's a high likelihood SpaceX gets this piece.
I think there is a high probability Viasat ends up with nothing.

$ASTS: 🇧🇷The regulatory winds are blowing in AST SpaceMobile's favor
➡️Originally, 60MHz of Brazilian S-Band was assigned to Echostar and Omnispace in 15+15MHz blocks
➡️Anatel's recent consultation has now granted both Starlink and AST SpaceMobile 15+15MHz blocks
Viasat and Omnispace should be very nervous

💥 WASHINGTON CHOOSES $ASTS AS ITS OFFICIAL TECH SHOWCASE! 🇺🇸📡
Who just showed up directly at AST SpaceMobile headquarters? Fabiana Crestani (Program Manager at Tuatara Group).
Her role? Orchestrating missions for the USTDA (U.S. Trade and Development Agency), the U.S. federal agency responsible for exporting strategic U.S. technologies internationally.
🇺🇸 The raw facts of this visit:
• Washington's endorsement: The USTDA brought a high-level delegation of decision-makers from Latin America and the Caribbean to $ASTS.
• State validation: The United States is promoting AST SpaceMobile's technology as the global benchmark for direct-to-smartphone broadband.
• From diplomatic to commercial: These institutional missions pave the way for lowering regulatory barriers and securing future regional telecom agreements.
❓ The real question to ask: Following the sovereign model initiated in Japan (J-LEO / Rakuten), will we see tomorrow the creation of dedicated or state-co-financed constellations (such as in Latin America or the Caribbean) to guarantee telecom independence? 🌐
While the competition offers closed solutions, $ASTS is establishing itself under Washington's patronage as the universal standard. 🚀 $ASTS

VERIZON RULES OUT MVNO DEAL WITH SPACEX
During their earnings call, the following was noted
"I will say, and I'll repeat it again, that there are no back doors to any of our MVNO agreements, and I see absolutely no benefit whatsoever to extending an MVNO deal to any satellite provider. I don't buy into the idea of this prisoner's dilemma. That's ridiculous.
There is no benefit to Verizon extending an MVNO deal. Um, and, and we look forward to being able to, for six years to finally punch back. And we'll punch back hard when that happens."

$ASTS: 🧩SpaceX spent $22B on Echostar's global S-Band spectrum. Based on SpaceX's stock price performance, that transaction is now valued at $48B.
Today AST SpaceMobile received an allocation of 15+15MHz of S-Band spectrum from Brazil's regulator Anatel in exchange for a commitment to invest in and deploy its direct-to-device satellite broadband service across the country.
AST is expected to pick up more S- and L-Band spectrum licenses globally as regulators look to foster sovereign solutions deployed through local MNO partners.
