I’m one of the world’s most despised human beings - 40 something, tax paying, straight, white, male. Yuck.

The whole reason the Tories avoided his decisions is because they are fucking pointless.
Andy Burnham is grasping the nettle, making the difficult decisions that the Tories avoided for 14 years.

Wait, isn’t there a powerful institution in Brussels that likes to dictate laws to European nations?

Man ends wars… crickets. Man starts a war….

Nothing like a trade union to destroy the very trade they seek to represent. We don’t have a coal, steel or a car industry now thanks to unions.
🚨NEW: One of Britain’s biggest trade unions has threatened to “severely disrupt” UK fuel supplies as North Sea oil rig workers vote to strike over pay Unite says the action could disrupt 30% of the UK’s oil and gas supply

I think it’s time we had a country simulator. Load all the variables of the country, then every prospective MP has to play the simulator. If they don’t improve the country, they are barred from running.

And soon, everyone will know that feeling when £100 flight tickets used to cost £50, and end up costing £200 due to moronic decisions like this and catastrophic mismanagement of the country.
You know that feeling when you book a flight for 50 quid and somehow it ends up costing 100? Getting seats together, correcting a typo, another charge here and there, it all adds up. When the cost of living is already squeezing people, those endless extras can feel relentless. So we're changing the rules for you. Parents won't need to pay a penny extra just to sit next to their own children. You'll be able to fix any name errors on your booking free of charge. And because the last thing you want once you're on the plane is more stress, we're working with the industry to make sure that disruptive passengers who have been banned from one airline can be banned from flying with other airlines too. I know holidays are expensive and these are small things, but hopefully they'll make your trip just that little bit cheaper and easier. That's exactly the kind of thing I want this government to keep on fixing.

Except the UK. We won’t sacrifice benefits for defence. I wonder if that means all beneficiaries will be conscripted?
Once again, Europe woke up to reckless and dangerous Russian behaviour. A Russian warship fired emergency flares dangerously close to a Danish helicopter. A drone entered Lithuanian airspace before being destroyed by NATO fighter jets. These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a broader pattern of Russian aggression and provocation against Europe, testing our readiness and our resolve. Russia will find our resolve only growing stronger. We are reinforcing our collective deterrence and defence, together with NATO. And we are stepping up the pressure on Russia.

The latest polls tell us one thing. Sane people are far outnumbered by the terminally stupid.

I’m still trying to get my head around the liberal argument that in order to save democracy we must prevent democracy by eliminating opponents. Is there a leaflet with just a brief outline of what democracy is they can be handed?

If you think the Dover protestors shouldn’t be interrupting people’s day, remember that when you are blocking off cities for your pride parades and pro-Palestine marches.

The AfD didn’t vote themselves in, the people did. These clowns never seem to understand that. The majority of people don’t want what you’re selling, that’s all there is to it.
W Polsce tylko idioci albo zdrajcy mogą się cieszyć z tryumfu AfD w Niemczech. Trochę się ich nazbierało w Konfederacjach i PiS.

Deluded.
It has been the privilege of my life to serve as the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The economy today is stronger, fairer and more resilient because of the choices we have taken as a Labour Government over the past two years. Stability restored, investment delivered and reform to our economy under way. I said when I was appointed Chancellor that I would judge my time in office if the lives ordinary working class people have been improved. I’m proud to say that they have. And to every young woman and girl let my time in office show there should be no ceilings on your ambitions, your hopes or your dreams. I wish the very best of luck to my successor, Andy and his cabinet. You have my full support, and I will continue to play my part in helping this Labour government deliver the change the country needs.

Why is it whenever I hear Andy Burnham speak, all I hear is “I’m going to fuck you all over” in Mancunian?

Yet another PM who has no idea that saying stuff actually does nothing. Although, I do expect homelessness to rise as soon as a politician says they will end it.
🚨 BREAKING: Andy Burnham pledges to end homelessness in Britain as his first act as PM "I will soon go through that door behind me and issue my first instruction: to end rough sleeping in our country"

Isn’t it great that Christopher Nolan’s “Odyssey” was SO inclusive?! So inclusive that they didn’t cast any Greek actors in an entirely Greek story.
