Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏

The first mission of the Church is to help people be attentive to the profound questions of life: those concerning our origin and our destiny, as well as those concerning the meaning of love and suffering. The logic of profit at all costs and the manipulation of information risk exerting undue pressure on people to conform to a lifestyle centred on the consumption of material goods, but our hearts are made to look upwards. #GeneralAudience

This is a disaster for the human race and I’ve really lost patience with the useless morons who can’t see that. An AI video chat that passes for human has no necessary legitimate applications. It will be used to scam old people out of their life savings. Lonely, mentally vulnerable people are going to form romantic attachments to people who aren’t real. Isolation will increase. Mental illness will skyrocket even more than it already has. Kids in grade school will have AI boyfriends and girlfriends. All of this will happen. And worse things we can’t even conceive at this point. People are already forming unhealthy emotional attachments to text-based LLMs. Once there’s an audio and visual component, it’s over. Millions of brains will be broken irreparably.
The benefits of this technology, whatever they are exactly, are so vastly outweighed by the societal catastrophe it will cause, and is already causing, that you can’t even measure the two categories on the same scale. But at least this is the best thing that ever happened to third world scammers. So if you’re in that community, congratulations.
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test.
48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video.
It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard.

Every eligible Ohio Christian should vote for @VivekGRamaswamy and here is why ⬇️
1. He will be a more valiant defender of Christian principles than many “Christians” in office like our “Catholic” Governor DeWine, who vetoed HB 68 to protect children from transgender mutilation (it was passed by a veto override).
Vivek has a record of standing up to the trans mafia and being bold on culture-war issues when milquetoast Republicans have compromised.
“I will ban genital mutilation and chemical castration under age 18, without apology.”
“If you can’t get a tattoo by age 18, you shouldn’t be able to get puberty blockers, ‘gender-affirming’ surgery, or chemical castration before age 18 either. ‘Affirming’ a kid’s confusion isn’t compassion. It’s cruelty.”
Vivek’s 10 Truths:
1. God is real.
2. There are two genders.
3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
4. Reverse racism is racism.
5. An open border is no border.
6. Parents determine the education of their children.
7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
8. Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.
9. There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.
10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.
2. He will govern according to Christian values.
“I’m not Christian… But we do share the same Christian values that this nation was founded on.”
“We don’t choose who God works through. God chooses who God works through… God chose Cyrus, a Gentile all the way in Persia, to lead the Jewish people back to the Promised Land… I believe God put us here for a purpose. My faith is what leads me on this journey.”
3. He will appoint God-fearing judges.
The governor fills midterm vacancies on more than 700 benches in Ohio, including the Ohio Supreme Court.
If you don’t vote, Acton, who you are handing that power to, will, in all likelihood, appoint liberals who do not fear God.
4. If we lose a supermajority in the Ohio House or Senate, he is our only chance at getting conservative bills signed into law for at least two years.
Bills like the Affirming Families First Act, which protects the family unit from the radical left woke mafia trying to break it apart, and bills that bring pro-life values to the next generation like the Baby Olivia Act, would certainly be vetoed by a Governor Acton.
5. He will stop the Ohio bureaucracy from being weaponized against Christians, as we have seen in other states, by appointing Christian-friendly leaders as heads of agencies like the Ohio Department of Taxation and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission.
6. He spends more time at churches, surrounds himself with more Christians, and prays with more pastors than most Ohio Christians. It’s not impossible that we will see him convert to Christianity.
This is the most bold claim on the list, but remember with God all things are possible.
I love how Outlook deletes meeting emails the moment I hit accept. It’s a genius idea, because obviously I’ll never need the agenda, Zoom link, meeting details, or literally anything else from that email again. Truly incredible software.
Hindus ask why you convert if you retain "Hindu name",language, rituals etc
The answer is Christianity is entirely different from Islam/Hinduism. it's not name, language, rituals etc.
Christianity is accepting God's grace.
Why can't Indian people accept God's Grace?

This is racist. It is wrong. And I condemn it without reservation.
There is absolutely nothing Christian or conservative about looking at a crowd of young Texans at a college football game, seeing the color of their skin, and declaring that they are a “problem.” These are 20-year-old kids cheering for their university—not political props and not targets for racial attacks.
We can have serious debates about our nation’s immigration laws. I have strong views about immigration policy, and Americans have every right to demand changes to federal law. But opposing an immigration policy does not give anyone license to demean people because of their race or ethnicity.
And let’s be clear: the Texas Railroad Commission regulates our oil and gas industry. It does not set federal immigration policy. Texans deserve Railroad Commissioners focused on the responsibilities of that office—not using a statewide campaign as a platform for racial division.
This does not represent my Christian faith. It does not represent my conservative principles. And it does not represent the Republican Party I believe in.
As a Texas Aggie, I’m always happy to take a friendly shot at the Longhorns when the opportunity presents itself. That rivalry is part of what makes these two great universities so special. But this goes far beyond college rivalry. We should be willing to call racism wrong no matter who says it, what party they belong to, or how politically inconvenient it may be. This is wrong, and I want no part of it.

Mr. Amodei, I appreciate that you care so much about us that you even came to X to write this long post, despite how much you seem to hate being here among us. 🙏
But Mr. Amodei, please don’t worry at all. We, the rest of humanity outside you and your company, are fully capable of curing cancer and every other disease using AI, defending ourselves against malicious actors misusing AI, and pushing humanity toward a golden age of abundance, even if you and Anthropic were to suddenly disappear tomorrow.
Thanks to great American and Chinese AI companies, extraordinary engineers and scientists from around the world, and millions of people harnessing open-source models, we really can figure out what is best for humanity and push ourselves toward the best timeline in human history. You need to believe in us, trust us that we will do the right thing!
We simply ask that you not interfere with that progress or advocate for regulations that restrict our freedom to use the best intelligence available that we can afford. Important to note that, when such efforts are made to restrict that freedom, we will push back as strongly as possible to protect our right to access the best intelligence at the lowest possible cost, so that every human being can be empowered by it.
You may, however, want to focus on your company: rightly so, creating enormous wealth for your investors and employees, making sure your models remain continuously at the forefront of AI, and helping advance AI security, accessible by all and not just selected few or those who can afford it, in other words in ways that create maximum value both for yourself and humanity.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

2/2 Second, on the messaging around AI. I do not agree that my messaging has been disproportionately negative. In fact it has been about equally balanced between risks and benefits: I’ve written one major essay about each, and even in interviews where I discuss the risks, I make sure to frequently mention the incredible benefits as well as proposing possible solutions to the risks (short clips from my interviews that end up on social media tend to be disproportionately negative, as that gets clicks). In fact, I wrote Machines of Loving Grace because I didn’t feel the AI industry was painting an inspiring enough picture of how the technology could radically transform the world for the better. The bulk of the essay is devoted to refuting skepticism of AI’s potential in health and biology, and showing why I think it will actually be possible to cure most human disease in ~5-10 years, as crazy as it may sound to ordinary people and frankly to biologists as well (I used to be one!). And, if you read my most recent essay (Policy on the AI Exponential), I discuss concrete proposals for how to streamline the FDA process to make sure the deluge of AI-accelerated drugs isn’t slowed down by the regulatory process. I feel the urgency here: I lost my father to Hepatitis C only a few years before the development of direct-acting antivirals (sofosbuvir), which cure 95% of patients and probably would have cured him.
I do agree that the public has a negative view of AI (and that this is a big problem), but I don’t think it is primarily caused by me or any other AI leader warning about AI’s risks. I think it is fundamentally a crisis of trust. I think that ordinary people don’t trust companies, governments, or the tech industry and always suspect that we are cooking up some new way to screw them over. The causes of this go back decades and AI is just the latest iteration of it. I don’t think that a glitzy marketing campaign with a positive spin (which some have advocated that Anthropic do) is the way to win back that trust — at this point, saying that AI will cure cancer is more a cliche than it is inspiring, and most people think it is deceptive. The thing that will work is *actually curing cancer*. I think by far the most accurate criticism of AI companies including Anthropic is that we haven’t yet delivered on our big promises to benefit the world. That is totally on us, and I think it’s the criticism you should be making, instead of all this stuff about messaging and marketing.
We are however doing our best to fix this: Anthropic is ramping up its efforts very quickly in biology and medicine, and we hope to have incredible results in the coming years and some early glimmers in the coming months. When we’ve actually accomplished something real, the whole world will hear about it, as loudly as possible, you have my word on that. But until then I don’t want to make empty promises, and in the meantime I feel compelled to speak honestly about the very real risks of AI and how to address them. Honesty is the right thing on the merits, and in terms of public credibility and trust it is no worse than, and may in fact be better than, an approach that ignores or distracts from risks which people instinctively understand are real.
For #Bharath that is #India to grow it reminds of this famous quote. If we have to grow as a nation this is the mantra.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's most famous quote on peace connects personal morality directly to global harmony:
"Where there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is order in the nation. When there is order in the nation, there is peace in the world."
