CleanSpace makes a **loose fitting** half mask powered respirator for people with beards. No fit testing needed.
The CleanSpace Agile PAPR uses a neck-worn on-demand blower to push filtered air in to the mask to keep un-filtered room air out. It has a loose fitting chin seal that can fit over beards. No bulky full head top required.
But this functionality comes at a significant cost, $1,870.00 Australian.

This video by Agile Equipment says the PAPR runs up to 7 hours per charge - which is not quite a full shift. You'd potentially need two units per employee to run full shifts since the batteries are internal and not interchangeable like those in PAPRs made by other companies. And that max run time will diminish as the batteries age with use.

This is the first I've heard of a loose fitting half-mask PAPR. This seems like a useful technology other PAPR makers could incorporate, and some may have already done so.
I don't know about availability in the US. CleanSpace is based in Australia and no longer has a US based on-line store.
