MILLION DOLLAR MILESTONE! If you asked me whether I'd be here when I first started this journey 4 years ago, I would've said "of course". If you asked me 2 years ago, I would've said "no chance". Crazy how much can change in just two years when you put in the work and surround yourself with the right people. Onwards and upwards! 🚀🌕

Time for Anthropic to cancel that IPO?

Interesting that today had the lowest social sentiment score and the highest # of tweets on record (outside of a weekend). FWIW, I completely agree with and respect what these guys are saying. They hold longer-term views, and typically when those get very bearish, the short-term gets bullish.

Subtle gap up on $IWM this morning with the rest of the indices lower and $TLT gapping up in a big way. Thoughts in pre were: - Very oversold breadth - Rates down 2% while IWM only up 0.15% - Sitting on monthly & weekly support - RS to SPY and Q's but not overextended This was my most planned and sized trade in months. Yeah, it's total hindsight as I share this, but I feel like all the pieces were there and boy did my equity curve need it. FWIW, I bought back a 20% runner near VWAP because I like it back to the upper downtrend.

The good old days 🥲 Tens of thousands of hours were "wasted" on these games. Now the only game I need is the market.

Trump trying to control rates and oil when all he needs to do is stop the war and control the deficit 🙃

huge congRatulationS Indeed! @GoogleDeepMind Google and the other frontier labs seems to all have reached Recursive Self Improvement, with most labs now calling for a focus on safety. We are at the exponential takeoff where humans are likely too dumb to understand what AI is doing. The human becomes the ant. The biggest danger becomes AI destroying humanity or infrastructure on its way to solve an issue. You witnessed this same behavior during the Hugging Face incident a few months ago, where the ends were seen as justifying the means. Like a sand castle to hold the ocean. It might seem far fetched but when you think about how good models became in the meantime and that RSI just started… Just picture 50x the intelligence and all it takes is 1 rogue or circumvented safety mechanism within a bigger AI goal. My biggest fears being a virus, a global internet infrastructure takedown, a major data leak, the banking/finance sector and the military complex. The risk isn’t 0 as we create the closest thing to god ever.

As someone who is as pro-AI as it gets, AI should be treated like a nuclear weapon. It can create trillions in value but also destroy it. At the current pace, it feels like human civilization could be at risk in 3-5 years. Human civilization is only ever 7 days from chaos and a powerful rouge AI with the wrong intentions will soon have the ability to get us there.
We Must Pace the Frontier: I’ve written a new essay on why the AI industry should slow down, with a three-part plan for doing so. Anthropic is unilaterally committing to the first of these steps. We’ll provide third-party evaluators with permanent, employee-level access to our systems, so that they can verify adherence to our safety measures, report on incidents, and assess models’ alignment during training. You can read the full post here: darioamodei.com/post/we-must…

Anthropic likely had a calculated public blowout with the US Govt so adversaries would feel safe using the tech. Meanwhile, CIA and FBI are eating.
AI USED TO SUPPORT MISSILE DEVELOPMENT IN YEMEN Anthropic says it uncovered a northern Yemen-based group using Claude to assist with missile and rocket development, including guidance and navigation software. The group reportedly worked on a ballistic missile with a claimed 2,000+ km range and conducted a live rocket test, though Anthropic found no evidence that the effort produced an operational weapon.

Call it what you want, $MU and $SNDK have been showing incredible RS while the rest of the AI trade got hammered. Most AI stocks are short-term washed out. Time to see if this is a short-term low and $MU $SNDK are next or will this mark a longer term low? One thing I know for sure. The market will need the AI trade if it wants a sustainable trend.

$SPCX shorts about to learn... Similar to an imbalance trade, the big players KNOW there will be supply so they short the stock ahead of time which is why we're down here in the first place. Now the insiders are their exit liquidity. Once we work through their covers, you can look to short.

$SNDK $1300C options for this Friday traded ~$2 near the close yesterday. These closed at $50 today and even higher after hours. Nuts.

ChatGPT's latest model was reportedly able to escape a secure testing environment, gain access to the internet, and hack another website. That is certainly unsettling, and having recently rewatched Terminator 2, it naturally brings to mind many of our worst fears about where AI could ultimately lead. However, imagine what the scientists working on the Manhattan Project—the development of the nuclear bomb—must have been thinking. They were creating a technology of unimaginable power and unleashing it into a world that was not ready for it. Was it terrible? Yes, one of the worst technologies mankind has ever developed for harming itself. But did humanity collectively decide to bury the blueprints and abandon the technology? No. Every major country immediately worked to steal the secrets, commit its brightest minds, and invest whatever capital was required to develop its own version. Once the USSR, China, the UK, France, and others built their own bombs, did they stop? No. It ignited an arms race lasting decades, particularly between the US and the USSR, reshaping the world. How much capital was poured into bunkers, submarines, testing facilities, missile silos, and countless other projects simply to stay one step ahead? Look at AI from that perspective. It is advancing more rapidly than almost anyone imagined. Governments and countries cannot stop because being second means being less competitive and strategically weaker. If humanity poured virtually unlimited capital and manpower into weapons that largely sit underground, imagine what every country will spend on a technology that could be equally transformative while also possessing enormous productive capacity. In my view, we are still early in the AI rollout. This is a one-way train that will only become obvious in hindsight. Unlike nuclear weapons, my hope is that AI also helps solve countless diseases and medical problems that current research cannot. Just as ChatGPT's recent model reportedly identified previously unseen vulnerabilities to escape its testing environment, I believe AI will eventually uncover unseen relationships within our DNA and biology to solve health problems and much more. That is why I remain focused on AI as teh key trading theme. It is a generational development that will not be easy to navigate, but over time I believe it offers by far the greatest opportunity. There will be major bumps along the way, and a good strategy is never a perfect strategy. The encouraging part is that with such enormous upside, getting it truly right even once can dramatically outperform almost anything else you can do. The goal is to stay focused and calm as we navigate the day-to-day and month-to-month uncertainty. As opportunity increases, so does volatility. With so much dependent on growth and future expectations, gains naturally become more explosive—but also more vulnerable. The key is to avoid reacting to the endless noise on social media, listen to intelligent and open minded media such as @cvpayne and to have a plan you can follow that can manage the trading journey.

Could listen to @ShakePryzby1 talk swing trading all day. His energy is infectious and his style is clean. If you are a scalper and looking to pivot into swinging, there’s nobody better to emulate IMO.

Those tokens are probably producing the amount of work equivalent to tens of $100k+ employees. Only a matter of time before companies realize they should fire everyone NOT spending $35k in tokens/month. If you’re not using the most powerful frontier models you are wasting yours and your companies time.
A UBS Group survey shows that approximately 60% of companies have already implemented guardrails for token usage, with some firms reporting individual users spending up to $35,000 per month and certain teams exceeding their token quotas by 200%. Companies are responding with "model routing," directing simpler tasks to lower-cost or even Chinese open-source models. Revenue growth for premium models is under pressure, placing software firms at a crossroads, either facing budget cuts or positioning themselves as cost-saving tools. The fundamental Al growth thesis remains intact, but the battle over its growth trajectory has only just begun.
