Scrolling texture mounds w/ distortion for the water platforms. Reflections are done via duplicate/mirrored geometry. 🪞 I ❤️ (doing) these kinds of breakdowns! It's like walking onto an OTHERWORLD-ly movie set and seeing exactly how it's all done.

Finally played Skynet for the first time, and I'm kinda impressed. A highly ambicious FPS for it's time with HUGE open-world areas, that rewards exploration. The pacing is non-existent, but otherwise it's really cool and can be pretty hardcore at times. Also, FMV cutscenes! 🫶
