Take the spite out of your heart. Purify it. Your heart is a small organ. When you fill it with hatred, you’re preventing it from being filled with the love of the Almighty. Always ask Him to protect us from hearts that are consumed by hatred, envy, pride, jealousy.

I had a great time discussing trial prep alongside @ToddJMcCarthy and Justice Abrams @LawSocietyLSO program last week. Always nice to be back in person!
Thank you Justice Abrams & @LawSocietyLSO for inviting me to speak at the “Tips from the Bench for Trial Prep” session.

When things don’t work out the way you thought they would, it’s natural to feel sad, let down, depressed and despondent. Remember, it’s not the end. The Almighty has the best plan for you. You have to believe that. Be patient and everything will unfold right before your eyes.

Here's a piece I wrote for the @OBAlawyers JUST Magazine on an important topic. Hoping that one day (soon) the Supreme Court will mirror Canada's diversity. oba.org/JUST/The-Community/2…
New in JUST. If Canada is diverse, why isn't its highest court? As @MariamMoktar writes, a diverse bench only enhances the public's confidence in our legal system, and diversity enhances the quality of decision-making. oba.org/JUST/The-Community/2…

The system is clearly broken but don't be discouraged by this gross injustice. Fight it.

Life is full of ups and downs. Don’t let one setback dampen your spirit. Keep your morale up. Whatever happened is just one chapter. It’s NOT your whole life story.
