RT @Do_Dropshipping Not sure how many products to start with? In DD's crawl, the most common Spocket store carried 25 to 49 products (24.6%). StoreLeads now puts the top bracket a touch lower, at 10 to 24. Either way, most keep catalogs small. #dropshipping

I launched Cited.today last week. Here's the brutally honest recap of every channel I tried. Google Ads: since October 21, spent €105.90 (€83 in Europe, €23 in the US) for 43 clicks and 2 conversions. Around €53 per conversion. Not great, not terrible for a first week. Meta Ads: between October 16 and 26, spent $416 across two waves (first US only, then US and Europe). 1,545 clicks, 1,208 landing page visits, and 0 conversions. Yes, zero. Traffic that doesn't convert is just an expensive vanity metric. X post: "just bought one of my favorite domains ever." 0 DMs, but 1 signup. Product Hunt launch: 0 signups, 0 visits. To be fair I did nothing beyond posting, and I genuinely doubt the platform moves the needle anymore. LinkedIn post: 30 likes, 2 comments, 365 views. On paper, one of the worst performing posts I've done. But it brought me 10 DMs from people wanting to test the product. So after a full week of paid and organic across 5 channels, the clear winner is the one with the worst public numbers: a LinkedIn post nobody engaged with, that quietly filled my inbox. Next week we get serious. LinkedIn DMs and cold email. No mass blasting, ultra targeted. The ad money taught me where NOT to spend. The DMs taught me where the demand actually is.

Do you think it's easy to write a blog post?

Sometimes the most difficult part is starting. That comes down to habit, structure, and discipline. #BloggingTips

Growing your own audience is the play.
Dave Jorgenson (@davejorgenson) grew The Washington Post’s TikTok to nearly 2 million followers, then left to build an audience he actually owns. 📰 Boosts, referrals, automations and memberships. All built in. 🐝

Moved our entire hubspot blog over to wordpress using claude code which ran autonomously for 6 hours and emailed me when it was done. As people become more savvy, the "platform migration PITA as customer lock" goes away. Here's how I did it. First I used AI to find the most robust MCP out there for a blog host. WordPress beat webflow for my use case. Now the fun begins, I woke up around 5:30am and on the walk portion of my morning run I kicked off deep research for documentation for both hubspot and WordPress, given I was going to migrate. Got home showered, watched the kiddos walk to the bus stop, then went to work, got in by 8:15am. Hubspot and WordPress MCPs were already connected (I used a business account for a new WordPress site to get the full mcp) While at my desk I told Claude code that I wasn't going to be at my desk after 9:30am and that it would have to work autonomously from 9:30am until I got back to my desk at 4pm. Knowing that for the next hour+ I had to get all the permissions set up. Step by step I installed the plugins, set up tilhe python, etc etc. I then left at 930 to go to my meeting in the city. I got an email at around 3pm in my drafts, telling me it was done. It ran for 6 hours autonomously, and when I show people the staging site, they can't tell which is which. The AI even caught that it should move the forms and tracking over as embeds. If you look at these the only giveaway was accessibility icon. Not bad Claude :) Also now that it is on WordPress with the MCP guess what? I can voice things like this into my phone and get Claude to find an image and insert it. Prompt: Take this post and insert an image of me in the first image position and push the other image of cloudflare down, run indepentdly.

I’d highly recommend giving them a look. We switched from WordPress to DropinBlog and man, I really wish we would have done so much sooner. Also, they converted everything (15 years of blogs) in an afternoon for us, including proper redirects. Didn’t miss a beat.

If you run a small store on @Shopify or @BigCommerce, the native blogs these platforms offer will meet your needs. dropinblog.com/blog/best-blo… But larger stores with content teams looking to attract search traffic and convert it into leads should use DropInBlog.

Your suitcase has a secret: it can fit way more than you think. The Vacuum Packing Set squeezes about 70% more into the same bag, so the zipper closes and nothing gets left behind.

Give your customer a "request changes" button. It's how hesitant deals stay alive. If the only options are sign or ignore, a hesitant customer picks ignore. Offer a clear second path: 1. Accept with a signature. 2. Or request changes, in writing, on the bid itself. A change request is a buyer still at the table. Silence is a buyer who already left. BidGlory's portal gives the client both buttons. See it in BidGlory: bidglory.com/demo?utm_source… #Contractors #Sales #Proposals

Serious question for web people: if an AI agent can update your website from a Slack message or a text, what is the CMS actually for anymore? Permissions? Audit trail? Or just habit?

The CMS is still the governance layer. AI can make the edit, but permissions, review workflows, revisions, previews, and audit history are what keep changes safe and accountable.

This is exactly why we exist. We are platform-agnostic.
