Abdul El Sayad says his parents DIDN’T support his high school basketball team which is pretty wild considering they DID support a terror group. He must’ve been TERRIBLE.

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

Every single signatory is a gullible fool that doesn’t understand the law. Rooney could direct her royalties to any other organisation, just not to benefit a proscribed terrorist group. Irrelevant if they think that Palestine action should not be proscribed. Tha fact is, it is.

There's far more support for Sally Rooney, who wants to fund a proscribed terrorist group, than for John Banville, who pulled out of a Spanish literary festival due to their discriminatory policies against "Zionists." And that tells you all you need to know

The below thread is about a massacre that took place 50 years ago. As you read the details, you’ll quickly begin to see a pattern emerging. You’ll begin to understand the nature of Palestinians. You’ll see how similar it all sounds to the atrocities committed on Oct 7.
But this didn’t happen to Jews by Muslims in Israel. This happened to Christians by Palestinian Muslim Arabs… in Lebanon. Events like these will ring all too close to home for people like @GadSaad and @ACTBrigitte who survived similar atrocities.

For years, our police, government, city mayors, and council leaders have all been telling us that "globalise the Intifada" was harmless...
Tell that to the people of France.

Dear France. Don’t worry, there’s an easy fix. Let them build a victory mosque atop the Eiffel Tower that no French may enter, then call you settlers while you let them live and work in France, and others demand a two-state solution. That’ll stop it.

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

Do the people protesting the Faber decision on Sally Rooney realise they’re basically arguing to legalise funding of proscribed terrorist groups in the UK? One thing to disagree about proscription of Palestine Action, quite another to argue people should be free to fund terrorism. In my view the issue is how the state makes decisions to proscribe certain organisations, not whether or not people should be free to undertake commercial activity in order to fund terrorist organisations.

Her books haven't been banned. Not at all.
She and her publisher decided to pull them from the shelves because funding a proscribed terrorist organization was more important to her than selling her books
Hope this helps!
Has Britain really banned bestselling Irish author Sally Rooney’s books? Read: irishtimes.com/life-style/pe…

I am very much opposed to banning books, but the detail that people seem to be missing in the Sally Rooney story is that all she needs to do is not donate the proceeds to a terrorist organization. Then her books will no longer be considered a vehicle for funding terrorism.
