Hearing Canadians who don't live here, raise their children here or even pay taxes here declare that they'll "always be Canadian" must be what it's like to hear a deadbeat dad tell you that he "always thinks of you."

What EXACTLY do you mean by “energy”? You’re on the record saying to: 🚫Keep 80% of oil & gas in the ground 🚫Block oil & gas pipelines 🚫Cap oil & gas production 🚫Hit Canadian Industries with a carbon tax 🚫Get 90% of power from “wind & solar” HOW MUCH will this COST?

Canada could be the richest country in the world if government just got out of the way and let our world-class energy companies get things built again. To do so we must: 🇨🇦 repeal Bill C-69 which prevents any new pipeline/energy project from being built 🇨🇦eliminate the production cap which willingly cedes market share to our competitors 🇨🇦eliminate the industrial carbon tax and instead rely on proven technologies Let's bring it home!

The Carney campaign is about to hit the brick wall in 3…2…1….
More than 50 Newfoundland and Labrador's fish harvesters are outside Mark Carney’s rally in St. John’s. Police said they told them to move outside. The front doors are now locked. Carney started his speech saying he wants to acknowledge them and is here to listen.

WATCH: CARNEY IN THE COAL MINE A dive into the greedy, aggressive tactics of Mark Carney’s company, and how it made money by denying care to hardworking people. If this is how Mark Carney’s company treats sick workers, how is he going to treat Canadians?

Trudeau was not outstanding, in large part the cause of where we are & why we are here. Canada should have been diversifying the global customer base yrs ago yet instead, hemmed in LNG & commodities exports, including Oil. Unnecessary bills, bans & constraints.

I’m hearing that it’s both.
Is it that Carney is lying here, or just that he has no idea what he’s talking about?

I reject Mark Carney's leadership due to his obsession on environmental sustainability, which I believe imposes an unfair burden on Canadians. His vision casts Canada as a global leader in this domain, compelling us to adopt stringent measures while many other nations continue to rely heavily on coal, a far more polluting energy source. This disparity places our economy at a competitive disadvantage, as we bear significant costs that others avoid. Moreover, it raises a troubling question: if major polluters do not follow our example, our sacrifices may amount to little on the global stage, rendering our efforts both economically taxing and environmentally futile. In this context, conservatives have a clear opportunity to refine their critique of the carbon tax and strengthen their opposition. Too often, their argument hinges on the taxation of households without acknowledging that rebates frequently offset the amounts paid by individuals, a point that, while accurate for many households, fails to capture the broader economic implications. They should instead emphasize how the tax undermines overall productivity and stifles economic growth, particularly for businesses that face higher energy costs without equivalent relief. These increased expenses can erode competitiveness, potentially leading to reduced investment, job losses, and slower growth across key sectors. By shifting their focus to these tangible impacts, conservatives can craft a more comprehensive and persuasive case against the carbon tax, one that resonates beyond individual rebates and addresses the policy’s deeper economic consequences.
