Just so everybody knows: the statement that "if it blows up, it will be 10 times larger than Chornobyl", is absolute nonsense.
This is a bad situation because it is an attack on a nuclear plant with people in it, not because it can "blow up" and be "larger than Chornobyl".

Not sure if it's possible to separate Dota and its gatekeeping toxicity. It's a tradition spanning back to insta-kicking anyone who hadn't downloaded the UMS file from the web site back in WC3. Understandably annoying to team with newbies for such a hard game, yet also SO toxic.
Even I was shocked to learn the lengths to which some men in the community went to actively shut down projects women worked on, and, whether by extension or direct harassment, any passion women had for Dota. At least one put more effort into shutting women down than his own jobs.
Isn't it super fun how the Dota community not only gatekeeps and abuses any woman trying to get into the game, but also has a 15+ year history of abusing the women who are already into the game? After muting our mics for over a decade of matches, who would want to be on camera?

There's some posts on various social media going viral about class action lawsuits suing OGX and other brands for "carcinogens" and "irritants". The suit is entirely baseless; no plaintiffs have the slightest understanding of chemistry. Pay it no mind and don't spread the dumb.
