Hi #writingcommmunity - I've been approached by a local primary school who want to use my book to help kids process #covid - And I was thinking maybe other #schools might also be interested - Any #tips to connect with other #teachers & gauge interest? #kidlit #scwbi #pbchat
Earth Takes a Break by Emily House - Earth feels unwell so she goes to the doctor. What the doctor prescribes seems impossible to Earth until she wakes the next day to a surprising change. A modern fable inspired by the 2020 lockdown, Earth Takes a Break is a touching picture book jam-packed with fun illustrations and woven together with a message of hope.

Just created my author page on Amazon but wasn't very inspired. I think I will need to revisit my bio and pep it up a bit! amazon.com/author/emilyhouse #amazon #author #illustrator #kidlit #writingcommunity #kidsbooks #picturebooks

'TREEMERGENCY!' Too young to understand the seasons, Tilly panics when her favorite tree begins to lose its leaves. Worried her poor friend is dying, she does everything in her power to save it. This #PB is a humorous, gentle exploration of the rhythms of nature. #PB #PBPitch

BEST BONE EVER Angus found it. And he doesn’t want to share it. Not even with Eddie. But now Eddie has something “AMAZING” to share with Angus. Maybe it’s even better! What’s a dog to do? Grrrrrr…sharing is hard! #PBPitch

Having a pet giraffe is not all it’s cracked up to be. Especially not when you have a clumsy, blanket stealing, cheeky giraffe who eats the tops off all your neighbour’s trees. A GIRAFFE IS NOT A GOOD PET #PBPitch #Ha
