I just want folks to pause and think about the message this sends to children who are alive today, in foster care, about their lives and value. Don't tell me you care for the outcast, those without privilege, the vulnerable, and then tweet something like this.

Younger adults have been told repeatedly that “no one has the right to tell others what to believe, so you shouldn’t be trying to convert anyone.”
This very statement is self-contradictory, since it’s doing the very thing it forbids.

Did you know?
The early feminists were pro-life.
They upheld the equal dignity of mother and child.
They recognized that abortion does not empower women.
They knew abortion exploited women in their most vulnerable moments.

I don’t want my kids to grow up thinking they love God, when all they really love is the comfort he provides in their lives. They need to know up front that saving faith transforms us into living sacrifices. thegspl.co/2AdCMhW

For a 2 minute snapshot, read Mohler's intro and 13 subheadings in the "Summary of Findings" on SBTS and slavery on pages 5 to 8. Painful. Cause for lament. But in the gospel, we begin with confession. Thank you, @albertmohler, @drgwills, @drjjwilliams, @JDWilsey & others.
The @SBTS Report on Slavery and Racism is a painful, yet necessary, mile marker in our institutional history. So grateful for @albertmohler's leadership in commissioning the work, and for @drgwills's skilled direction of the effort. buff.ly/2RSv2K0

This is an important day in the life of Southern Seminary. Just now, we release the "Report on Slavery and Racism in the History of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary." It is a massive project and a moral reckoning. ow.ly/kG4530mXcRU

The core convictions of evangelicals are becoming increasingly incomprehensible to a post-Christian American culture. This was recently illustrated in the media reaction to the tragic death of John Allen Chau. thegspl.co/2TNh5OX
