Is it safe to say I am a big fan of Dylan Harper?
I have been drafting #FantasyBasketball since July.
So far, I’ve joined 75 draft-only $5 leagues across various formats, including 12T H2H, 12T Roto and 24T H2H.
On top of that, I am in 12 real-money redraft leagues with varying buy-ins, consisting of 7 Roto (one 9-cat and six 8-cat) and 5 H2H.
This weekend, I have 5 confirmed auction drafts lined up (three H2H and two 9-cat Roto).
The most competitive one will undoubtedly be the @industrypickup league which is packed with industry experts.
Juggling all these drafts has made it tough to find time to create content lately.
However, I plan to start publishing updates on my Substack as soon as these auction drafts are finalized.

I was waiting for that notification to confirm who my most-drafted player actually was this season.
Since I’ve already hidden all my draft-only leagues, tracking total shares across every format in one view was pretty tricky.
I thought Dylan Harper had a solid shot at the top spot with 47 shares, but it turns out Ajay Mitchell takes the crown with 52!

I think we have seen enough to revisit this.
So far, it seems I was right on the Giddey call.
However, Şengün has been fantastic and Fred VanVleet's presence hasn't hurt him at all.
His early 1.8 SPG will probably settle somewhere between 1.0 and 1.5 SPG by the end of the season.
I hope he can keep his 3PG above 1.0 and FT% above 75%.
Even with a slight regression from his current pace, he looks locked in as a clear 2nd rounder or borderline 1st rounder.
That is a mad stat line.
I love a bold take, so here’s a new one:
Assuming he stays healthy, I can easily see Cooper Flagg being drafted ahead of Luka and SGA in some drafts next season.
Honestly, it wouldn't even surprise me if someone takes a shot on him at #1 overall over Wemby and Jokic.
He does everything on the floor with elite efficiency. He is about to turn 20 and still getting better day by day.
Taking that swing with your top pick doesn't sound crazy to me at all.
Devastating news for Thunder.
We still need more clarification, but it looks like both Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace are drops in shallow formats.
If you have a deep bench or multiple IR spots, hold tight for clearer updates.
Ajay Mitchell is likely already rostered, but Alex Caruso is a must-add.
I’m not opposed to picking up Jared McCain, but be prepared for inconsistent outputs.
Moving forward, Bennett Stirtz or Brooks Banhizer could carve out rotation roles.

Every year it's a different desperate spectacle at Ali Sami Yen, but the same old result.

A 6-3 win is a great result against the former @industrypickup auction league champion @fbw_podcast.
As a Cason Wallace & Ajay Mitchell owner, I benefited from the Thunder schedule this week to get close to the 40-game cap.
However, a 56-point & 12-rebound margin across 6 games could easily be wiped out, which is a concern for me.
Moving on to next week.

Silver lining here is that I was behind 6 games. No significant moves this week just added Leonard Miller for $21 to stash.
On to week 2.
If I were putting money on it, I’d bet on Cason Wallace to lead the league in steals per game.
I am extremely high on him with the big minutes opportunity ahead.

Here are my @industrypickup auction draft results!
A quick recap before heading to bed:
It could have been better, but I was halfway through another auction draft that started 2 hours earlier with a completely different structure (an 18-player roster with a $200 budget).
Running two simultaneous auction drafts with different math led to missing out on a few value targets and overpaying for some players.
I wish I had snagged one more elite scorer, but overall I am happy with how the roster turned out.
Update: One more confirmed H2H auction draft added!
The first one starts in under 3 hours.

If youre in a slow draft and you deliberately wind down the clock to the last minutes (out of 6-7 hours) while being present and available, you're being a prick.
A slow draft is not to allow you to deliberately antagonise league mates, or string out a draft. it's to accomodate time zones, and busyness. The accepted norm is when you log in, make your pick, not log in, look around, piss off for 5 hours, and then come back and wait for another 30 minutes for every single pick.

That being said, I’ve decided to share one of the funniest drafts I did back in July, before any fantasy analysts had published projections and we were drafting purely on instinct.
Note: These leagues didn't have 3RR.
I don't fully remember what my motivation was for this draft, but I clearly decided to lean into an @adamking91 style big build, even after an encouraging start with Tyrese Haliburton and Cooper Flagg.
It is impossible to get some of these guys at their July draft positions nowadays like Zach Edey, Day'Ron Sharpe, Collin Murray-Boyles, Paul Reed and even Dylan Harper after his impressive preseason performance.
I was always bullish on them, even when their situations (minutes and starting roles) were completely unclear back then.
