At Least 10,000 NYC Teachers Fired or Left Jobs Over Covid Shot Mandate, New FOIL Data Reveals
Shocking new data shows that 5,399 teachers were fired in 2022 for refusing the Covid shot, and 112 were fired the following year in 2023. In addition, over 16,718 teachers resigned in 2022 which “includes vaccine related terminations,” according to documents obtained by Jimmy Wagner from the NYC Board of Education. Wagner shared those documents with me this morning, and you can find them at the below link.
Based on my very quick read of these documents, this means NYC lost at least 10,000 teachers due to the Covid shot mandate. This number includes all professional pedagogues (teachers, principals, psychologists, social workers, counselors, etc…) but does not include paraprofessionals, nurses, therapists, secretaries or supports staff within the education system.
10,000 is likely a huge under estimate!
This is why you need to VOTE RED in NY!

All 5 NY Department of Public Service Siting Board (SB) members had alternates take their place for today’s hearing on Alle-Catt Wind. Not one actual sitting SB member was present.
It was evident immediately that the hearing was nothing more than political theater. It was decided before today’s hearing that the SB would deny Cattaraugus County and the Coalition of Concerned Citizens a re-hearing on the nighttime noise issue with the Alle-Catt Wind turbines.
When each alternate was given a chance to weigh in on the record, all five were prepped and at the ready to say, “no questions and no comment.”
Each one did as they had been diligently instructed.
All five avoided eye contact with me at the back of the room. You could feel the shame wafting off some of them.
These bureaucrats in Albany, NY are making decisions about rural towns and counties they’ll never step foot in. And your tax dollars are going to salaries for people who can’t show up to their own SB hearings.

This month, NIH announced a dedicated research initiative to investigate serious health problems reported after vaccination. HHS is also moving forward with improvements to VAERS and physician reporting.
For people who have spent years seeking answers, documenting their symptoms, and asking federal health agencies to take their concerns seriously, these developments matter.
But acknowledgment is not the same as answers.
The NIH research program is expected to begin enrolling patients later this year. Its success will depend on rigorous investigation, consideration of existing research, transparent findings, and ultimately better care for those suffering.
A ribbon-cutting is a beginning, not a measure of success.
What matters now is sustained attention, meaningful research, and measurable results.
The work has started. What happens next matters. And the people waiting for answers must not be forgotten.
