Well, I said Verstappen was definitely faster than Russell
More like he was 0.022% faster
Russell was faster in the 1st stint and very close in the 2nd, and from lap 65 he just managed Verstappen behind him
Replying to @MiniMistro27
Laps in grey are greater than Median + 2*stdev, and therefore not considered towards the average
Verstappen was definitely faster than Russell, but Antonelli was the fastest on track

Replying to @fai_ssbu
Yeah depends a lot on how you extract the laptime
Verstappen got pole with a sector 2 that was 3 tenths slower than Hamilton's
My guess is that it was to cool off and get the tyres ready to push in sector 3
Replying to @fai_ssbu
I get what you mean, but in Singapore race pace isn't really important is it?
And degradation changes massively depending if you have clean air or not (especially when it comes to Ferrari)
Replying to @FormulAnalyst @fai_ssbu
And that's the same for everyone
Max in Malaysia did the last run only improving in sector 3 and I still count his 3 best sectors towards the optimal lap
It's not like it only serves to diminish Ferrari
Replying to @fai_ssbu
Of course, but drivers should know what to do before starting the lap
If let's say they overpush in sector 1 in the first run and then in the second run overpush in sector 2 I am not opposed to still count the optimal lap, because the driver was probably dumb in doing that
Replying to @MiniMistro27
RBR faster in Austria is bullshit
