Heโ€™ll never know this but Patrick Stewart showed countless boys how to be men. He showed that strength didn't have to mean intimidation, that intelligence should come with humility, and that you could - and should - stand up for what was right even when it cost you something.

But unfortunately, invoking the 25thย is notย realisticย rightย now, given his oddball cabinet of sycophants and eccentrics, and Republican โ€œspines of foam.โ€ Weโ€™re going to have to buckle down and win this the old-fashioned way.

the CEO of Vercel saying the saas apocalypse is real because they replaced internal tools with AI-generated apps is so funny to meโ€ฆ you run a software company bro. you have engineers everywhere. if YOU couldn't replace your own internal tooling with vibe-coded apps that would be embarrassing honestly, AI or not that's like a mechanic saying cars are easy to fix and concluding nobody needs mechanics anymore. yeah no shit it's easy for YOU 90% of businesses out there don't have a single person on staff who knows what an API call even is. they're not replacing their CRM with something they prompted in claude code the disconnect is wild. these tech CEOs live in such a bubble that they genuinely think their experience is universal. your company literally builds deployment infrastructure, obviously you can ship internal tools fast the SaaS apocalypse might come eventually idk, but pls get back in touch with reality
Almost every SaaS app inside Vercel has now been replaced with a generated app or agent interface, deployed on Vercel. Support, sales, marketing, PM, HR, dataviz, even design and video workflows. Itโ€™s shocking. The SaaSpocalypse is both understated and overstated. Over because the key systems of record and storage are still there (Salesforce, Snowflake, etc.) Understated because the software we are generating is more beautiful, personalized, and crucially, fits our business problems better. We struggled for years to represent the health of a Vercel customer properly inside Salesforce. Too much data (trillions of consumption data points), the ontology of Vercel was a mismatch to the built-in assumptions, and the resulting UI was bizarre. We generated what we needed instead. When you donโ€™t need a UI, you just ask an agent with natural language. Weโ€™ve also been moving off legacy systems with poor, slow, outdated, and inconsistent APIs, as well as just dropping abstraction down to more traditional databases. UI is a function ๐‘“ of data (always has been), and that ๐‘“ is increasingly becoming the LLM.

Once again, the administration is telling us not to believe the videos. DHS agents went after an observer, they beat him, and then shot him over and over again. I voted against DHS funding last week precisely because this shit is shocking, but, tragically, not surprising.

Jack Smith wasnโ€™t appointed Special Counsel until November 18, 2022. That happened 3 months after the Mar-a-Lago raid. Come on man, do a simple Google search before you open your mouth.
Jack Smith may be legally and constitutionally untouchable. That doesnโ€™t mean his actions were fair or appropriate. The Mar-a-Lago raid in pursuit of the lame documents case, for example, is the epitome of overzealous prosecution-so patently unfair it recalls the 2017 Russia, Russia bullshit.

We've all seen a video at one point of some smug asshole sitting in their car, ragebaiting a cop, saying "am i being detained, am i being detained, am i being detained" over and over again. Everyone understands that if the cop got triggered and tried to violently rip that smug asshole from his car, that would be BAD, and the COP WOULD BE IN THE WRONG. and if the cop SHOT THAT GUY IN THE FACE, it would be WORSE. Officers are not justified in doing whatever they want just because they "told you". Simultaneously, everyone can understand, that if a cop was providing no ID, no indication of your rights, AND no indication of what crime you have even committed OR if you have even committed a crime, and attempted to detain you, that would be BAD and the COP WOULD BE IN THE WRONG AS WELL. If she had actually committed a crime, they have her license plate bro. She probably lives about 5 minutes away. You can go arrest her literally whenever you want. There is absolutely nothing time sensitive about this situation that required lethal force. Everyone can understand that if a psycho in a mask tries ripping you out of your car, that you're probably gonna panic and you're probably going to try to escape that situation. Which is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. Nobody with eyes can look at this video and think anything other than "she was trying to flee". You cannot frame this as she tried to run him over, it's not possible, no human being with eyes will believe this. You look insane.
Asmongold defends the officers actions in Minneapolis โ€œAfter u sh*ot one of them for trying to run u over..u victory lap around it & send in more ppl..they said to stop the car..to get out of car..if someone did this to average person..Iโ€™d say rip bozoโ€

The United States needs to stay out of Venezuela. Let the Venezuelan people determine their future. We don't want other countries to choose our leaders--so we have to stop trying to choose theirs. โ€“ at Washington, DC

Biden was the most pro union president since FDR and also the least popular. If unions want Dems to die on their hill, they has also better show up as allies.
