So as it turns out, everyone who was freaking out about Alabama before the bye - it really was just the injuries.

Pitch and catch to Rico Scott is what sparked Alabama’s offense, but this gutsy run by Keelon Russell might’ve been the biggest play of the game.
3rd-and-9, trying to answer an LSU TD with a TD of your own. Running on a bummed ankle. Great block by Kaleb Edwards too. Big time.

“I didn't get what I wanted, but I got what I needed. I got the respect I deserve from that man. And if the biggest star in this industry over the last 20 years can show me respect, I expect that across the board for the last real good guy going forward.”
SAMI ZAYN ISN'T GOING TO TOLERATE ANY DISRESPECT FROM NOW ON 🔥

Keelon Russell fought through injury, adversity, and 102,000 hate-filled LSU fans to headline the Tide's 18-point win at LSU.
After coming back from the medical tent, he threw for 102 yards and 3 TDs, with a game-changing 10-yard scramble on 3rd and 9.

Alabama is so explosive that they don't REALLY have to be complimentary.
Just shred you through the air over and over again.

Every “gotta have it” moment, Alabama took it. Clearly took their medicine during the bye week. (Comment section, have a field day).

Kalen DeBoer brought up Alabama's 2024 loss at Vanderbilt to players minutes after win at LSU.
"We talked about it already in the locker room," DeBoer told @UA_CTSN postgame.
"Every game is its own game, and this week means nothing when stepping on the football field next Saturday."

Everyone wants to talk about putting Tennessee over Alabama. Let’s do a look and see here.
Alabama and Georgia both lost after the game played with each other the week before.
Tennessee can’t beat a good team on the road.
Alabama was injury riddled against Tennessee.
