bid vs ask side classifications on this $zcsh trade are worthless, the spreads are too wide. nice try though. these were going for $0.60 friday and today the trader was filled at $1.05+ - that screams buyer aggression, not dumping into the bid

$ZCSH 60 c 12/18. Total premium traded on the contract is $250k today. The most significant size orders seem to be the 300,200,200 ct. But at bid price, indicating they were most likely calls sold.

I have been analyzing the $zcsh $zec options flow this morning and see no reason to believe the dec 18 $60 strike calls were sold at the bid. the trader paid over $1 each for these instruments, which is highly aggressive in my opinion, while on friday the same calls were going at the mid for $0.60. IV is elevated here today with little movement in the underlying. you don't get elevated IV from someone dumping on the bid. @grok can you confirm my logic here

perps are a scam instrument created by arthur hayes's team at bitmex. the options on $zcsh are wildly superior to hyperliquid, even with low liquidity. liquidation risk goes to zero. people use perps because many cannot grasp options but the education is worth it
Replying to @GoodTexture
Exactly. I’m done with perps, forever.

because perps are terrible products. the trader on $zcsh got potential for 30:1 leverage on $zec without the possibility of getting blown out by a scam wick. HIGHER LEVERSGE, MORE UPSIDE, NO LIQUIDATION RISK
Replying to @GoodTexture
Why on earth wouldn't you just do a perp ?

something about call options that many do not know, as a stock price goes up, the leverage a call option provides also increases. this is part of their magic, and this ability to grow is measured using a metric called gamma. options also cannot be liquidated like perpetuals

somone just spent a quarter milly on $zcsh call options, the largest daily volume print since zcsh has had an options table. this trade was equivalent to 6300 $zec worth over 7 milly total notional at delta 1.00 equivalent, providing non-liquidateable leverage of 30:1

someone just spent a quarter million dollars on deep OTM $zcsh call options expiring in less than two months. if the price of $zec doesn't nearly double within 2 months, the investment is a total loss. I believe this is the largest volume options trade to have ever occurred here

I don't expect it for $zec but this is crypto anything can happen. do not use leverage that can be liquidated. stick to options if you need to use leverage so that you cannot be blown out of position on a scam wick.

run june '27 $spy 800/805 call spreads to double your money off a 6% gain. average gain over this period is 16%
This is the CRAZIEST Market Statistic of all time Dont skip this. It’s the most IMPORTANT thing you’ll Read. All have a 100% WIN RATE First: FED HIKING CYCLES. Since 1983, the S&P 500 $SPY has risen during every completed multi-meeting hiking cycle. 7/7. Average gain: ~10%. Then MIDTERMS. Since 1950, the S&P 500 has been higher 12 months after every midterm. 19/19. Average gain: ~15%. And this one might be even crazier: Since 1942, EVERY November-through-June period following a midterm has been positive. 21/21. Average gain: +16.6%. Then add one more: 12 months after the final Fed hike? 7/8 positive. Average gain: ~20%. The only miss: May 2000 during the dot-com collapse. So 2026 has: 7/7 during Fed hiking cycles. 19/19 after midterms. 21/21 from November through June after midterms. Three completely different historical setups. Three near-perfect streaks. All lining up in the same year. History guarantees nothing. But this is VERY hard to ignore.

did you know these countries were levying sanctions against israel, who now has proposed using sanction-proof crypto to bypass those restrictions? if only israel had invested in developing such a technology.. hmm. does zerocash ring a bell?
Replying to @GoodTexture
Several Western governments have acted, including the UK, France, Canada, Spain, Ireland, Norway and others. They have banned or restricted trade in settlement goods from the West Bank and imposed targeted measures on entities linked to settlement expansion or settler violence. A recent Israeli study mapped roughly 90-120 such restrictions across more than 60 countries.
