They kept a living human being inside a museum!!
Like inside a show glass
They always find a way to use statistics to blame those doing the right thing
The UK really wants to punish LEGAL immigrants. I came here paid £15k tuition fee +2.5k NHS.
Now im working, paid 1.5K for my visa fee, 2.5k NHS, this lasts me 2.5 years, next septemper i need to do another visa 2.5 years, same fee.
And you guys are blaming us claiming BENEFITS? WE ARE NOT ALLOWED to claim benefits.
And people dont even want to google it. What do you want, why dont you stop the boats but punishing us? We are staying here, working as professionals, paying taxes, visa fee, NHS
It’s actually diabolical to call it a Fairer settlement now is diabolical
It’s like someone is bullying, oppressing and cheating you and they’re asking you to smile about it
By contributing to the economy should they just render themselves penniless?
She’s just saying anything to make this look fair
This is another form of Govt exploitation and oppression
If they can make a law and apply it retrospectively
They can do anything
There’s actually no guarantee on this
Then you’re gonna spend another huge sum to apply for the ILR even
I sincerely don’t think its worth the stress abeg
🚨 £32,384 JUST TO STAY IN THE UK? 😭🇬🇧
A family of 4 paid £16,192 for 5 years of Skilled Worker visas and IHS, expecting to qualify for ILR afterwards.
Now, with the proposed 10 year settlement rule, they could face another £16,192 in visa and IHS fees.
That is £32,384 in total, even before paying for ILR!
How are families supposed to plan for this?
Just sighting the first instance for you
How is that fair?
People started a race with a specific period on their mind
Now you’re changing the rule retrospectively
You’re supposed to be telling me what’s fair there
Replying to @Govmentson
Sorry your first sentence is not clear.
Are you saying the whole earned settlement thing is unfair? If yes, how?
I agree that the cost is outrageous. Is that what you meant by unfair?
This is the leader of the party this Shabana is trying to please with her reform?
She should continue oh

Shabana Mahmood's parents came to this country from Kashmir because they would be treated fairly. Changing ILR rules halfway through for hardworking tax payers, I say, is not fair.
Exactly
The Labour Party is trying so hard to dance to the Reform rhetorics and see if they can win some Reform votes
But they should know that nothing can please a core reform voter
Just stick to your ideals
Those are the reasons you won the election in the first place
"This is about Reform": Diane Abbott on Shabana Mahmood's changes to migration rules
The Labour MP tells @CathyNewman that the reforms are designed to appeal to voters in constituencies where Nigel Farage's party are challenging Labour.

“We Slept on the Same Bed for Three, Four Years”: Nathaniel Bassey Shares His History With Victoria Orenze
Gospel music minister Pastor Nathaniel Bassey has shared a personal account of his longstanding relationship with fellow gospel minister Victoria Orenze, revealing how they lived together, prayed, travelled and ministered together before she began ministering independently. Speaking while celebrating Victoria Orenze, Bassey recalled their years of closeness, explaining that she lived with him and his two sisters at his former residence at Number 34, 2 Rashe Street.
According to him, they shared the same bed for approximately three to four years.
“When I was living at Number 34, 2 Rashe Street, I had one bed, I had two sisters. She was the third sister, so we slept on the same bed for about three, four years,” he said.
Bassey also revealed that his home was where Victoria Orenze undertook a 40-day prayer and fasting exercise without food or water. He further recalled that they played music together, with Orenze playing the violin as part of the band. They also travelled together for ministration. He explained that her journey into ministering independently began from his house.
“It was in my house she prayed and fasted for 40 days, no food, no water. And she used to play the violin with me on the band; we travelled together. And she began ministering on her own from my house,” Bassey recounted.
Reflecting on the many experiences they shared, the gospel minister said their history together was extensive enough to fill a book.
“So we have stories. I can write a book,” he said.
Pastor Nathaniel Bassey then encouraged the congregation to celebrate Victoria Orenze, describing her as someone who does not tolerate nonsense and jokingly warning the audience that she could speak candidly if given the microphone. He urged everyone to give her a warm reception and celebrate her ministry.
