We believe access to capable open-source cyber models is our constitutional right as Americans under the 2nd Amendment.
It is our duty as technologists and patriots to help protect the digital infrastructure that powers the world's largest economy.
As such, we’re serving our cyber models “at-cost”, in US data centers only, with ZDR enabled by default.
We do not plan to make money serving these models.
If you run a company that is considering how to best protect against cybercrime, reach out to me or @atbeme. We’d be happy to advise.

deepseek-v4.1-flash-1017-cyber is now available on @inference_net.
This is the first of several highly capable cyber models we'll release over the coming weeks.
We believe it is our duty as technologists to help people protect themselves and their digital properties from the current onslaught of cybercrime ravaging much of the world.

Endless back and forth about whether bottom-up simulation of biology is technically feasible. In almost every other physical domain we are focused on putting sensors everywhere to collect time series data and then using that to model systems. There is a continuous flow of electricity running from your head to your fingertips and toes instructing downstream biological processes and receiving signals back in a loop and we are hardly recording it. Instead, we are obsessing over building virtual cells in abstracted environments that repeatedly achieve little predictive value.
Where do you think the bigger marginal return to time and money is likely to be?

if you believe the world is corrupt, you probably have zero understanding of the rules.
Tribal land makes great data centers
Yesterday, the Energy Department announced major investments towards Tribal communities energy infrastructure that will lower energy costs for Americans! 🇺🇸

This map has a number of mistakes which suggest it is AI-generated. Hawaii and Vermont are missing. Minnesota is also missing its Northwest Angle.

BREAKING: The U.S. Space Force is accelerating preparations for potential warfare around the Moon, seeking military capabilities that could be operational by 2029.
According to Breaking Defense, Maj. Gen. Stephen Purdy says the Pentagon is preparing two industry requests for information to acquire:
1. Spacecraft and sensors capable of monitoring activity between Earth and the Moon.
2. Navigation and timing systems to support operations far beyond traditional Earth orbit.
3. AI software allowing spacecraft to navigate, detect failures and operate autonomously without constant instructions from Earth.
The Space Force wants existing or near-ready commercial technology rather than years of additional research and development.
Purdy cited China's growing presence in cislunar space as a key driver of the urgency.
The Pentagon is also coordinating with NASA on infrastructure that could support both civilian lunar exploration and military operations.
Initial capabilities are targeted for deployment by September 2029. No contracts or operational weapons deployments have been announced.

Knowing anatomical terminology is an insane unlock for 3D modeling. Five hours of rage-prompting, then you type "dorsiflex the exterior carpus of the right hand 15 degrees until the arrow shaft is parallel to the index finger" and it just works. Literal wizardry.

Finding security holes is good. Fixing them is even better. That requires increasingly powerful models, and access to them by as many people as possible. Or you can try the failed security through obscurity thing again
