If Prasar Bharati can spend ₹15 crore a year on a DD News show featuring a star anchor, while the ISRO Chairman’s basic pay is about ₹27 lakh a year, shouldn’t we rethink our priorities? If India wants to conquer space and attract our finest scientific minds, our rewards must match our ambitions.

INTERESTING: “If every citizen becomes a journalist, it will create problems for all,” says CJI Surya Kant.
With a mobile phone, every citizen can now document events and hold power to account. Not everyone is a professional journalist, but every citizen has a right to free expression.

After the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer and a BJP spokesperson questioned DeKoder's earlier SIR analysis, Prannoy Roy (@PrannoyRoy7749) responds with a closer look at the data.
Is counting seats won enough to understand SIR's electoral impact? What does the vote swing reveal that the seat tally doesn't?
Watch till the end and follow DeKoder for more.

Modi is just one election defeat away from total collapse.
It could have been haryana/Maharashtra, he averted it with EC manipulation.
Now government is in borrowed time.
It certainly does not mean that the other group will give better governance.

Modi, as PM, is an embarrassment to India.
Never has this country seen a bigger coward and bully.
Dear Prime Minister Ambani,
Please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.
Naturally, you would prefer to maintain your monopolistic exploitation of the great people of India, but would you nonetheless consider allowing Starlink to compete?
There are many areas of India, as there are in all countries, with no Internet access, which denies children the opportunity for education and for small businesses the opportunity to sell their goods to a global market. Starlink would change their lives for the better.
Thank you 🙏

#India: We are concerned by reports of mass detentions of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi.
We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled.

How the SIR deletions affect the Bengal election results? Were certain categories of voters targeted and if so, what were the consequences?
Does the analysis of Bengal elections suggest any lessons for the forthcoming state elections?

Rahul Gandhi didn’t shoot himself in the foot with his ‘welcome Elon’ post on X. He sat on the muzzle and pulled the trigger.
Starlink is licensed in over 165 countries and has spent five years complying with every single law and requirement of the government of India, so why still no license?
Is Ambani the real boss of India?

Everyone who is against the protests happening in India today should remember one thing:
Almost every right you enjoy today exists because someone.. at some point in history, refused to stay silent.
The freedom you have as an Indian.
The rights u have as a woman.
Reservations secured for social justice.
Labour rights, civil rights, voting rights, freedom of expression.. none of these were handed out because the 'privileged' politely asked for them.
Someone took to the streets.. someone challenged the system.. someone made their hands dirty.. someone disrupted the status quo.. someone was called 'troublesome' 'anti-national' 'annoying' or ' nuisance'
And today.. we have the privilege of sitting comfortably at home, opening your phone and lecturing protesters about how much we dislike protests.
This very privilege exists because someone before us protested for it.
You don't have to support every protest.. but dismissing protest itself as something that 'shouldn't happen' is a remarkably privileged position to take.

#WATCH | Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) Chief Spokesperson Saurav Das says, "Starting October 10th, the country is going to witness a massive mobilization of its youth. Even though the call for this protest may have originated from the 'Cockroach Janata Party,' the call itself belongs to the country's youth—to Gen Z. Gen Z understands that the only way to change their circumstances and the system is through the right to vote. The current system is such that you might go to vote only to discover your name has been removed—deleted—from the voter list. If those in power have created such a system, where can the youth turn? How will their situation improve? How will we address the massive unemployment crisis?... If the right to vote is taken away, nothing will change; the country will continue on its current path—or perhaps get even worse. That is why the youth are coming out on October 10th for a massive protest. We will not back down until CEC Gyanesh Kumar resigns..."

All the flaws of Congress government were human flaws, very desi flaws.
Corruption, incompetence (sporadic competence), pettiness, tribalism, identity politics etc. These are all desi flaws. And Congress had them, in spades. Tabhi desh Modi say pehle bhi 3rd world tha.
BJP not only has all these flaws 1000x times more but they are CRUEL, EVIL people.
In short Congress jab ghatiyapanti karti thi, tab unko at least sharam aati thi. BJP ko maza aata hain. We have willing chosen psychopaths to lead this country.
