17 yo never listens to us and yet hears everything we say about him, even in a whisper. I think he runs a side process using 2% of his brain listening for his name, and if he hears it, then he actually interprets the phonemes he's been buffering.

Kickstarted Batch 9 of @lossfunk 🚀 residency!
We took a short pause but now we are back with a fresh set of curious folks and deep projects.
This batch has it all: AI agent swarms, cancer drugs, AI sitcoms, a GTA-style Bangalore, and LLMs served directly from OS.
🧵 with their profiles and goals for the next 6-8 weeks.

Last month, Chinese researchers demonstrated quantum teleportation over 100 simultaneous channels.
Who's building a verifier for quantum computations? 🤔

Gonna make an alt account where I just straight up lie about AI stuff and see how quickly I can go viral with it

why do children just play while adults workout? let’s use the lens of form, feel and function to explore further on why you want to workout? and why don't you want to play instead?

After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

Great video!
Been thinking about the OpenAI agent swarm story and of course it’s familiar lore in scifi. My fav scifi novels that cover themes similar to Dan’s paper (Natural Selection Favors AIs over Humans, 2023):
•Accelerando, Charles Stross
•Daemon, Daniel Suarez (@itsDanielSuarez )
•Avogadro Corp, William Hertling (@hertling )
•Excession, Iain M Banks’ Culture series (not related to the theme, but involves Aggressive Hegemonizing Swarms…all time fav )
4. Yes. It's open source.
Apache 2.0.
Code + model weights are public today.
It generates at 720p and supports longer videos by stitching overlapping clips together.

read code. no matter what. accountability is still yours. optimizing for speed while risking correctness is stupidity.

Glad to be quoted by @TheKenWeb on @GoI_MeitY's relationship with AI vendors and @GoIStats's latest MCP server connected to their statistical datasets.
Read: the-ken.com/story/indias-ai-…
Story is that @HiSohan and I were using the MoSPI data to make some clinical estimates for Chapters 1 and 2 of the UP.AIACT.IN Report 2026.
Turns out the data retrieved lacked granularity needed for effective district-level analysis that we had to do.
Read the story. It's genuinely good.

Went to a Jio store to get my SIM exchanged.
The guy opened Google Maps on my phone and left a review for the store himself, using my account, without even asking me.
Then he got curious about how my Nothing Phone was so smooth, so he checked the RAM too.

Finally, I am glad to announce that the UP.AIACT.IN Report 2026 is officially public :)
You can download the report at up.aiact.in.
This is India's first AI Industry Diffusion Report for the state of Uttar Pradesh, developed by @indicpacific and the @IndianSocietyAI.
The editorial support of @adityajakki, Ayushi Agarwal and Nisha Singh was truly helpful and I wish Aditya explains his experience as an editor.
The forewords of this report were authored by:
Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor, @nalanda_univ
Prof. Pitabas Mohanty, Professor, XLRI Jamshedpur
@RupakChatto, @ForumFed authored the Introduction to this Report.
We are eternally grateful to the 28 contributing authors, (tagging those who are on X), @_AkashBansal_, @deepanshuS27, Sunil Khemka, Dr @mnwsth, @Smita_Srinivas ji, Bogdan Grigorescu, Simrin Kapoor, @theachyuttiwari, @ravishar313, @HiSohan, @SaiyamPathak, Sagar Singamsetty, Rupal Mathur, Swastik Grover, Prathik Karthikeyan, @AKLKO1977, representatives from @Artha__Global, Saanjh Shekhar, Sonal Shah and many others.
Why is this Report so special to us?
This is the first-of-its-kind report developed on AI industry diffusion challenges, focusing on Central India, which remains a rather untapped and unaddressed region.
Uttar Pradesh is at the heart of it. UP's growth is also subject to how its industrial history realities are understood on all counts - R&D, talent scales, resources and the role of government in AI investments.
