We cant wait for the Santa Monica airport to close. Small plane pilots flying in circles every single day and all day long over the area is a nightmare. The airport needs to be dense housing in a walkable community.

This is central Los Angeles every single night/day. There are apparently emergencies 20+ hours a day that require police helicopter pilots flying in circles. This region is terrible for everyday living. #LAPD #NoisePollution

This is a great example of what you find when you sit and watch what exactly LAPD’s helicopters are doing.
For about an hour this one cruised the Malibu coast, flew around Santa Monica and Point Dume before flying back and landing.
Almost none of this flight took place over the actual city of Los Angeles...
LAPD helicopters spend about 2,000 hours a year flying over completely different cities and jurisdictions while LA taxpayers foot the bill

Former Senatobia cop Foster who killed Kohen Wiley had 2 previous lawsuits for excessive force, one of them also mentioning that he exaggerated the threat by the vehicle he stepped in front of. Two Black men sued him for “viciously and repeatedly beating” them and claimed that Foster “conspired to charge them with crimes they did not commit” in a Waffle House parking lot in 2019 (video enclosed below).
A second lawsuit was filed by Katherine Jefferson (race unverified) who claimed that on 8/26/2022, they “tased her multiple times,” “stomped on her face breaking her jaw” and “knocked out multiple teeth” during a traffic stop.
