The snapshot for eligibility has already been taken, it isn’t at the end of the first claim period. Moving your XRP now won’t change eligibility. Do you remember which wallet held your XRP at the snapshot date?
Replying to @blockchain @MidnightNtwrk
So move my xrp to Xaman wallet from DCent wallet? Snap shot occurs at end of first claim period?
Manual claim means you connect your wallet on the Glacier Drop portal sign a transaction to prove ownership and the tokens are released to your wallet

• Setting up multiple payment requests?
• An NFT tool?

Yes, Xaman uses standard XRPL message signing, similar to the Flare and Songbird airdrops. The signing is done locally on-device. private keys never leave the wallet. As long as you’re using the official claim site and signing from your snapshot address, it’s safe.

How can Xaman (Xumm) users be sure it's safe to claim the Glacier Airdrop? Is it the same signing process as the Flare and Songbird Airdrop back in the day?

Relevant details for Xaman users deciding to participate in the Glacier airdrop for $XRP holders:
As usual, @XamanWallet is the only XRPL wallet supported.
Opted-in users will be sent a notification once verified steps are available.
We are not affiliated with @midnightfdn.
The @midnightfdn Glacier Airdrop is live. Here's what you need to know:
- @XamanWallet is the only XRP wallet currently officially supported by the project
- Only sign in with Xaman is safe (otherwise you're probably dealing with a scam)
- Their claim page is desktop only - so get your desktop ready and sign in with Xaman
- You still have 58 days to claim
- In a few days we'll inform all our users with a Push notification & in-app message
- Do not trust any l inks, type the following location in your desktop's browser: https:// claim https:// claim [ dot] midnight [dot] gd
- You will need a fresh Cardano (ADA) wallet for the claim destination, as they don't airdrop to the XRP Ledger, only based on your XRP Ledger XRP holdings
⚠️⚠️🚨🚨There are scams EVERYWHERE pretending to be Xaman / Xaman support / me / my team / ... TRUST NO ONE. Questions? Use our IN APP SUPPORT 🚨🚨⚠️⚠️
Exodus doesn’t support the message signing required for the Midnight claim on XRP and BTC. For XRP, you must use Xaman Wallet. For BTC, use a wallet that supports message signing like Ledger (outside Exodus). That’s why your addresses aren’t recognized.
Replying to @IOHK_Charles
Why can't I claim @MidnightNtwrk for $XRP and $BTC on @exodus ? Its not recognizing these addresses on there, It basically is saying for XRP it needs to be the @XamanWallet which I don't store on there for that.
Hi bud! I'm happy to help to the best of my ability, please click on the message box and follow us back, and we'll help you sort it out immediately!
