🚨 CRITICAL: Active supply chain attack on axios -- one of npm's most depended-on packages.
The latest [email protected] now pulls in [email protected], a package that did not exist before today. This is a live compromise.
This is textbook supply chain installer malware. axios has 100M+ weekly downloads. Every npm install pulling the latest version is potentially compromised right now.
Socket AI analysis confirms this is malware. plain-crypto-js is an obfuscated dropper/loader that:
• Deobfuscates embedded payloads and operational strings at runtime
• Dynamically loads fs, os, and execSync to evade static analysis
• Executes decoded shell commands
• Stages and copies payload files into OS temp and Windows ProgramData directories
• Deletes and renames artifacts post-execution to destroy forensic evidence
If you use axios, pin your version immediately and audit your lockfiles. Do not upgrade.

There are some other exciting new use cases and projects in our pipeline, and I'm eager to see how builders make use of our feature rich network and highly scalable UTXO architecture.

This solidified our commitment to partnering with institutions who are future focused, reputable and dedicated to enabling the future of blockchain technology through education and community growth.
- New onboarding process for emerging ecosystem projects
- Hosted our first exclusive Founders and Investors luncheon in Toronto alongside @Hashlock_ (facilitated by Fractl) where we were able to connect with new industry partners and peers. I'm optimistic about the opportunities that will come from this for our ecosystem projects in the future.

Recently, a project that I had been holding for about 4 years ended with the partners leaving. It is uncertain at the moment.
When it was going down, I said, "I'm glad I have $Nexa." Because there is no pre-sale, no pre-mining and it is completely owned by the community. It is developed by Bitcoin Unlimited (@BitcoinUnlimit )and it does this with bitcoin funds. They decided to continue doing this with their own funds for 10 years.
