Yes, this is our new Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, who is a Fox News host (with Senate approval).
Yes he is, in my opinion, vastly unqualified for the position. It’s like picking a guy who just got his Cessna rating to fly the 747 that your family will be traveling in.
But sharing this image to try to discredit him is disingenuous. The image is from before he swam across the Hudson River with the Navy Seals to raise money for a charity.

Fredericton is an interesting counterpoint to Charlettetown, where my family & I spent the weekend (they flew back to TO, leaving me with the car & my podcasts). Charlottetown is less historic but does a better job selling /burnishing its history. Fredericton is less gentrified – at Fredericton, New Brunswick
