Like the US told Trump this week, we're done with big tech corporations taking over our democracy and public assets.
Labour won't stand up to them. We will.
Far-right paramilitaries tooling up with guns and bombs is reported on less in the UK media than some nobody councillor defecting from the Greens to Labour because they weren't selected for the 2027 local elections.

All Britons should be familiar with
Hack: What do you say to comments by A. Roaring-Crackpot that you are a Nazi, and a donkey-fucking terrorist
Candidate: I don’t think that’s an appropriate question, you ought to be ashamed
All hacks: (In unison) OMG absolutely terrifying

This will backfire on Labour.
The Green Party want to tax billionaires, tackle the climate crisis and stop arming a genocide.
Labour want to interrupt your local services & impose genocide support from it's local councils.

Burnham really did it, he told everyone he was the localism PM and then made your local council sign a loyalty oath to Israel.

Chesterton presents an alternative explanation:
"What he gives up must be some simple and universal thing. He will give up beef or beer or sleep–because these pleasures remind him that he is only a man."
"The Greens have been taken over by pro-Palestine activists and replaced its environmental values" began as a Neo-Nazi conspiracy theory, and has now been faithfully laundered into the mainstream by liberal journalists and sore losers like Adrian Ramsay.

This summer we saw nearly 3000 people die from extreme heat while wildfires raged across the country.
This is the crucial decade for climate action - yet Labour ministers are still holding cozy meetings with oil and gas bosses with alarming frequency.

You might look at this story & just think 'that's just what happens' but a government run for the benefit of corporations is oligarchy & we need to call it out.
Until that changes we will continue to see decisions made for private profit rather than the pubilc good.

Adrian Ramsay sold out the Green Party for 30 seconds of airtime, letting a panel ridicule the party before the press discards him forever. It’s all a bit tragic.

Much of the media hate that the Green Party want to tax the super rich & stand up for peace around the world.
They hate that we call out vast majority of media owned by a few billionaires who constantly distract.

This is the slightly more genteel, Green Party version of what the PLP, Labour Together and the party bureaucracy did to Corbyn.
This isn't complicated. If every time large numbers of, primarily young, idealistic people become enthused by politics and seek to engage in the political process you tell them go away, you are not wanted and call them entryists - it is really, really bad for democracy.

My PhD was on Corbyn’s Labour leadership.. my God, there are many parallels between what is happening to Polanski and what happened to Corbyn.
Internal sabotage, supportive grassroots v hostile MPs, weaponisation of antisemitism, media acting as attackdogs instead of watchdogs..

This is from Adrian Ramsay briefing the Times today. Adrian and Ellie, who will almost certainly lose their seats, and Carolyn, will have to answer for the deeply dehumanising language they’ve relentlessly directed at Green Party members. They should be under no illusion that people will move on and forget.

I like Polanski and fully support the direction Greens have taken. But UK media and politics is a rigged game and they need to grow teeth. I know that might not be the instinct within the party but I'm afraid they need to or they're going to be eaten alive.
