My latest, "Lady Undertakers of Old Texas" is out now. I did exhaustive research to learn about the personal & professional lives of the 150 or so women undertakers & assistants who worked from 1880-1930. What I found was fascinating. Please check it out!

Blue Wave smacked Republicans so hard DeSantis dropped the act and started talking like a guy who went to Yale and got a JD from Harvard again.
Ron DeSantis explains why the GOP "screaming socialism" doesn't work anymore:
"Young people have a very positive view of socialism compared to capitalism. The question is, why is that? Some of it is the education in our universities. But I think a big part of that is, what they're comparing is not free enterprise versus socialism. What they're comparing is how government gets involved in business, and you have crony capitalism. The best kind of indirect supporters of socialism are some of these corporatist republicans who propagate these crony policies. The average person is seeing that and saying, 'Wait a minute, you're trying to bend the government to funnel benefits to this corporation or that industry. What about having a competitive market? ... Young people really aren't seeing that. They're seeing just a handful of companies that have an outsized influence on our economy and on our society"

When I was out in West Texas with the Talarico campaign I was like “oh my sneakers will be fine” and then at the second stop of the day someone almost stepped on a rattlesnake and that’s really all you need to know about why they’re not just an aesthetic choice.

So what are the chances someone suggested this Dana White and Trump pulled a Four Seasons Total Landscaping?
Trump: “I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States. I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

This is so wrong
The reason “Trump didn’t steal the elections” is because we & the pro-voter coalition stopped him EIGHT times over the past 21 months
Here’s how: a thread (1/x)

Stephen Miller is a dangerous xenophobe and reckless extremist...
Therefore I will be holding a secret, closed door meeting with him to find common ground on issues like immigration and our shared loved of Israel.

If you are one of the ~20 respondents to the exit poll who identified as a Democratic Socialist and voted for Ken Paxton, please reach out, I'd like to talk to you about literally everything, actually

I remember when we had to protest with over a thousand of his neighbors in front of Chuck Schumer’s home just to convince him to stop approving every single Trump foreign policy appointee he could , including Nikki Haley. And even in second term, @SenSchumer made Democrats approve Marco Rubio.
The fact that he wasn’t fired after that in 2017 is a miracle. And keeping him as any leader after he brought us Haley Stevens, abandoned Florida where we could have had a major victory land literally tells foreign countries doing genocide that it’s his “job” to send Israel blank checks for weapons after marching with war criminals on palace is unbelievable.
All while his kids and family use his position to take bribes big tech preying on us…

Somewhere in corrupt Dem consultant-land, a group of “strategists” really thought “pull the masks down and turn the bodycams on” was gonna knock our socks off.
We all know Alex Pretti’s murder was captured on bodycam, right? Renee Good’s was captured on cell ph video being recorded like bodycam. Elsewhere, bodycams haven’t done shit to reduce non-ICE use of force incidents. Yet they’re a CENTERPIECE of centrist ICE “reform” proposals?
What’s Jeffries’ and Schumer’s goal here—do they just want better quality video of ICE kidnapping, assaulting and/or killing innocent people? Or do they just want to see the faces of the perpetrators so they know exactly who DOJ is refusing to prosecute?
America is so G-D sick of this infuriating lack of conviction or real action from Dem leaders. It’s never going to change until there’s a change in leadership itself.

I lack the vocabulary to adequately express just how much this disgusts me
Spotify just announced a feature that could either save the music industry or destroy it.
Starting as early as Q1 2027, Spotify Premium subscribers will be able to use AI to transform any participating artist’s song into a completely different version. Turn a folk ballad into a dance track. Make a hip-hop song sound acoustic. Generate a cover where one artist’s voice performs another artist’s song. Remix a pop hit into lo-fi study music. Create the version of your favorite song that only existed in your head until now.
The remixes will be uploaded directly to Spotify. They’ll appear in playlists. They’ll count toward the original song’s chart position. And most importantly the original artist will earn royalties every time someone listens to a fan-created remix of their work.
Spotify has already signed a landmark licensing deal with Universal Music Group the world’s largest record label. Negotiations with Sony Music and Warner Music are ongoing. The feature will cost an additional $4–$5/month on top of Spotify Premium. And analysts project 7–8% of American subscribers will adopt it by 2028.
This is not Suno or Udio generating music from text prompts. This is fans remixing real songs by real artists with the artists’ permission, on the world’s largest streaming platform, with royalties flowing back to the creators.
A music industry analyst who’s covered streaming economics for 15 years told her team something after reading the licensing agreement that reframed how she understood the future of recorded music.
“Spotify just turned 640 million listeners into 640 million potential remixers. The question isn’t whether people will use it they will. The question is whether paying artists for fan remixes solves the economics of streaming or creates a world where the original recording is worth less than the infinite remixes generated from it.”
Here’s what Spotify’s AI remix feature actually is, who wins, who loses, and why this might be the most consequential decision in the music industry since the launch of streaming itself 🧵
I live in Texas. I promise you, on the ground here, this was an incredible but not impossible result. People are PISSED & that includes MAGA like my ex-BIL, who had men abducted off his work site by ICE. The vouchers issue alone would have flipped a lot of state-level races blue.

PSA: You don’t get to refuse to support Zohran and actively oppose Abdul and take money from AIPAC and oppose Medicare for All and be chicken shit about abolishing ICE… then turn around and act shocked that people don’t see you as leadership material. @SenSchumer @RepJeffries
Governor Hinojosa, do it. Show California that we’re a better, more efficient blue state than them.
Amtrak has broken its annual ridership record, completing more than 37 million trips in 2026.
It's the third year in a row the transit agency has set a new ridership high.
