BREAKING NEWS
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2024 #NobelPrize in Chemistry with one half to David Baker “for computational protein design” and the other half jointly to Demis Hassabis and John M. Jumper “for protein structure prediction.”
First ever engraftment and maturation of autologous iPSC-cardios post-infarct without immunosuppression (out to 14 months). Incredible bicoastal collab with Cindy Dunbar & Manfred Boehm’s team @nih_nhlbi to pull this off—what a journey!

How it started vs how it’s going
One of the major roadblocks for #heartreneration is the onset of arrhythmias after hPSC-CMs #celltherapy.
We were finally able to overcome this adverse reaction with the #MEDUSA project, published this week on @CellStemCell; so proud of our team!
