Tbh I can’t imagine using Xometry. We sub some CNC work and I gotta know my vendor. Reputation and reliability matter more than a score.
saw a shop owner on linkedin who lives on xometry payouts. low payouts didn't make him buy robots. they made him automate the paperwork first. model vs drawing checks, DFM, workholding, programming. a good reminder: while many pictures automation as a robot arm, in reality the money is in the work before the first cut.

Reverse auctions and race to the bottom gutted our industry and were allegedly digging out. This post is like trying to convince me dog food is filet mignon

Should I make the CNC machine my part benchmark?
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model. Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching. We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards. As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

The millennial candidates are communicating on a different level.
Abdul El-Sayed: “We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. He has one genius which is getting attention. Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a fool”

Truly, can US gov't contracts flow-down COD payment terms? The Feds will get all their work done on time and underbudget. No DPAS needed.

I visited a machine shop who's mission statement was to "Glorify God". It's amazing what you can get done when the big guy is on your side.

Has token maxing boosted your personal productivity. I enjoy tinkering quite a bit but even before AI it could be risky.
