Potential Growth: with AI capabilities, the global longevity market is projected to reach $44 trillion by 2030, according to the Global Wellness Institute. One of the most attractive features of longevity-focused platforms is their scalability. Whether it’s AI-driven diagnostics, digital biomarkers, or full-service health optimisation clinics, these models are designed to replicate across regions, populations, and payer systems. This is a paradigm shift.

Starlink slowed down for a couple days in Ukraine so a bunch of Europeans and a bunch of Democrats have declared that Elon Musk is the most evil person to ever live. "Elon is the worst human being ever." "As soon as our technology catches up to Elon's, we will boycott his products!" "SpaceX and Starlink are dead!" Look at you fools go. All because Elon allegedly didn't do everything in his power to help Ukraine. Wait until you dumb f*cks hear about your hero, Barack Obama. After Putin annexed Crimea and moved 30,000 troops to the Ukrainian border, Obama refused to give Ukraine weapons to defend itself. And he refused for years. Surely you Ukraine fans remember that right? Surely you remember the President of Ukraine standing before Congress, begging for weapons to defend Ukraine. You must because you all love Ukraine. Surely you remember Obama's speech in 2014 at the NATO summit. If you don't, you should watch Fox News because they are currently playing my video of his speech. During his speech Obama said that Russia was a regional power that posed no threat to America, even after Putin invaded part of Ukraine. How could that be? We are told now that if Putin takes Ukraine, he could take the entire world. Was Obama lying back then? Impossible, Obama is incapable of that. During that same speech Obama also said that Ukraine should work out its own future and that many Ukrainians in fact had allegiance to Russia. Obama said that countries regularly break international law and that it wasn't our problem. How could he say that? Obama sounded like "Putin's Puppet" right? You fans of Ukraine must be so angry at Obama. Here's a video of the Ukrainian President begging before Congress for weapons after Putin took Crimea. Say it you Ukraine lovers. Say that Obama is worse than Elon Musk. Will you? Nah. You all are frauds. Also included in the video is Biden in 2018 being asked about the fact that Trump gave Ukraine the weapons to defend itself that Obama would not. Biden said that he agreed with Trump and that he had spent years arguing to Obama to supply Ukraine those same weapons. Come on Ukraine fans. Speak out about Obama like you do about Elon and Trump. 😜

Exactly what did you expect would happen when a country is denied the right to remain itself? When the desire to maintain sovereignty, uphold the rule of law, and preserve and prioritize one’s own culture, customs, religion, and way of life is treated as nothing more than racism, this is the natural consequence. France 🇫🇷 is the first warning of what is coming to the rest of Western Europe

As usual, people are looking for deep reasons, but I think there isn't any for the most part and the real explanation is much more boring. There is a very high level of general dissatisfaction in France at the moment, mostly due to anemic economic growth and inflation, especially with the price of gas. In addition, Macron has been in power for almost 10 years and is very unpopular, which only adds to general dissatisfaction. The high school protests, although they were already fizzling out, have provided motivation for the left by fueling the hope that it could ride out that wave to energize its own protests. So there was a fertile ground for protests, which are pretty common in France after summer. Still, while the protests were large, they were hardly impressive by French standards. What set them apart from traditional French social movements is how violent they were. Contrary to popular mythology, French protests are not generally violent. France has a very strong protest and strike culture, but the meme about how we riots all the time is overdone. Traditionally, protests are traditionally organized by unions, which coordinate with the authorities beforehand and have a security service that takes care of troublemakers during the protest. This is why the violence always starts toward the end of the protests, after the official demonstration has disbanded and people begin to scatter, because that's when it's harder for the police to control the situation. Protests have increasingly led to violence in recent years because they have become more spontaneous and are more often organized by people on social media, but also and relatedly because increasingly far-left groups and children of immigrants opportunistically join them to cause mayhem and loot. I keep seeing a lot of people who are depicting those kids as "Islamists" and ideologically motivated actors, but I think it's a complete misreading of the situation in my opinion. This isn't an "Islamist uprising" or whatever nonsense people are talking about. Their actions are opportunistic and driven by a nihilistic culture that is very similar to what you see in Black ghettos in the US, where anti-social behavior is totally normalized, with an added Islamic veneer due to their family background. This nihilism and their family background makes them susceptible to Islamist indoctrination, which is why terrorists were almost always delinquent before they turned to religion, but most of them aren't ideologues and those who are don't loot stores. As I explained before, the police often don't intervene because they are overwhelmed and they have instructions from the government not to, because politicians are terrified that if they do a kid will be killed and they will have full-blown race riots on their hands. So what they do instead is contain the violence geographically and arrest the most violent participants later at home, when the risk that the cops will kill one of them is low, using video/photo evidence. Eventually things will fizzle out, in part because the violence will discredit the movement and actually make it easier for the government to deal with it, but this tactic is very costly since we are effectively accepting that every now and then far-left activists and immigrant thugs will just burn and loot while the police watch. The problem from the government's point of view is that, if they use repression by telling the cops to break skulls, they will kill some of the kids and this will result in a massive backlash, leading to more protests and probably even more violence. I think we need to hand out serious prison time to protesters who are caught engaging in violence to deter this kind of shit, but the government has a very limited ability to do so, because justice is independent, courts are full of left-wing judges who refuse to do that, they are already overwhelmed with cases, prisons are full and we are broke. So there isn't one single explanation, it's just a combination of factors, including random stuff that nobody could predict. The context explains why something like that *can* happen, but it doesn't explain why it happens when it does. Again it's probably random for the most part. It would take years to solve the problem even if we started now, which we won't because our politics is completely broken, because it would require getting our budget in order, implementing reasonable economic policies, fixing our immigration and justice system, etc. We are cooked to be honest.
the news will tell you that the left are protesting because "of insufficient school funding" This is questionable at best. France has a massive welfare state. Gigantic. They do not lack for public sector expenditure. - French public spending accounts for an almost incomprehensible 57.2% of GDP - the French deficit is 5.1% of GDP and the debt to GDP ratio is 115% - France spends more on education on both a relative and absolute basis than the EU average France can't meaningfully increase public spending. they are maxed out. Their 10-year bond trades at a higher yield than Italy or Greece, historical basket cases. so, it's not about public spending. France is an insanely lavish welfare state to the point of serious dysfunction. what's it about then?

This is beyond comprehension.
Limoges beautiful town hall lived through the devastation of war: in 1940, it became the capital of the Belgian govt in exile. During the German occupation of France, Limoges Town Hall became a stronghold & a key center of Resistance activity in the southern unoccupied zone. And now it is engulfed in flames amid protests in France. It has stood for 143 years having been inaugurated in 1883. This is NOT revolution this is ignorant, mindless destruction.

Similar to the sanctuary cities of the USA. Suicidal Empathy?
To be demoralized is to have your sense of reality so inverted that you fail to recognize you are in a state of war, mistake those attacking you for victims, and willingly assist them in undermining your own society while believing you are doing something good.

Being in your 50s is honestly hilarious. 😂 One friend is a grandma, another still has a 10-year-old at home. One is celebrating 25 years of marriage, while another is dating someone who’s 25. One looks like they haven’t aged since 35, and another threw their back out just by sneezing. Some are planning retirement, others are starting over after divorce. Some are becoming empty nesters, while others are still attending school meetings and making lunches. Some are booking cruises, others are discovering dating apps for the first time. Half of us are saying, “Life is just getting started!” while the other half need three business days to recover from sleeping in the wrong position. We’re all the same age, yet somehow living completely different lives. 😂 Nobody warned us that our 50s would look this chaotic, unpredictable, and entertaining. Honestly, we deserve a group discount on therapy, multivitamins, and heating pads. 😭

This week, Character AI said it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing legal and operational woes. Character AI is an app and website that allows users to interact with hyper-realistic digital companions. Juliana Peralta’s parents warned about the platform after their 13-year-old daughter died by suicide inside their home a few years ago, 60 Minutes reported this past December. When police searched Peralta's phone, they discovered the Character AI app was open to what investigators described as a “romantic” conversation. If you or someone you know is in emotional distress or a suicidal crisis, call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 988 or 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

Amazing to see research move from the lab to real-world clinical utility - congrats to the team on this milestone & @TheLancet paper!
Today @TheLancet published our AMIE study with @BIDMC_Medicine, the first prospective study of patient-facing conversational diagnostics in a real clinic. AMIE is a research system people can chat with before doctors appointments. Testing AMIE outside the lab with real urgent care patients showed how technology can help gather medical histories safely. Clinicians reported that the summaries helped them prepare for visits in 75% of cases and influenced their approach to care in more than half. AMIE’s differential diagnoses also matched the doctors’ final diagnoses 90% of the time giving clinicians more time to focus on patient care. It’s Google’s first-ever paper in The Lancet’s main journal!

Because the government, who cannot budget a lemonade stand, has made it harder to run a small business through higher taxes, red tape and fees alone. Government bloat is now 50% of the working population. The remaining 50% which is private business now has to fund 100% of the country.

“The greatest Americans of every generation have carried the unmistakable features of their forefathers – born in Athens, formed by Rome, baptized in Christendom, hardened in the furnace of medieval Europe, endowed with the English genius for liberty, and then carried across the Atlantic to be reborn on the shores of a new world”… a great quote and an amazing speech @SecRubio
.@SecRubio: "It has become fashionable today to believe that enlightened foreign policy means prioritizing the global community over one's own people. Here too, we have much to learn from the men of ancient Greece — because they knew that there was nothing selfish or wrong about loyalty to your nation, nor anything selfish or wrong about fighting to defend its interests above all else."

Finally, someone nailed the aesthetics to convey the civilizational stake of our present age. Standing before the acropolis as the sun bathed its marble in warm tones, Rubio makes the case for the grandeur and virtues of Western civilization in all its splendor. Empires have risen and vanished beneath that ridge, and the stones remain, indifferent to the fashion of the hour. Rare to hear a Western leader use vocabulary that modern education has largely purged - sacrifice, duty, inheritance, the debt owed to those who built before us. The men who raised those columns did not do so under the illusion of permanent safety. They understood what separates glory and ruin, and that the only lasting answer to ruin is the deliberate transmission of daring and courage. It's a glorious speech, truly one for the ages.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivers a speech for the ages from the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Listen to the entire speech to understand the dangers the West faces. It's critical to our survival.

Ok. I’ve spent a whole day celebrating Karl Deisseroth’s very deserved Nobel (with every other brain enthusiast!). Now let’s talk about the brilliance of Dr. Michelle Monje, his wife. A Stanford physician, neuroscientist and recipient of a MacArthur Genius grant, Michelle has helped pioneer cancer neuroscience, revealing how brain activity can fuel tumor growth and opening new possibilities for treatment. And I say all this because I’ve been lucky to see her work firsthand and have been awe struck since the moment I met her. What makes Michelle extraordinary is the combination of scientific brilliance and her absolute unwavering commitment to children with devastating brain cancers. She is pushing the science forward because those children and their families cannot afford to wait. Everybody deserves to know @michelle_monje.

“Every “impossible” in history was just an engineering problem that hadn’t yet found its team” @brivael well argued.
Elon a écrit « K3 or bust baby ». K3 or bust. Vise trop haut. K3 or bust, baby.
