How did the news that Prime Minister Mark Carney was giving his wife $1.2 Billion dollars to be Canada's "Ocean Envoy" go with such little media coverage, let alone media scrutiny.
Dude gave his wife a $1.2 BILLION budget to pretend to be Aquaman or whatever an "Ocean Envoy" is supposed to do and most people just let that news slip past unnoticed.
Is she gong to talk to narwals about climate change?
Somehow Canada survived without an "Ocean Envoy" up to this point but apparently now we need Diana Fox Carney to don the Aquaman suit and go fight suspicious barnacles or something.
Goodness...

Europe has developed a pretty interesting definition of “protecting democracy.”
🇷🇴 Romania annulled a presidential election after Călin Georgescu finished first, then barred him from the rerun.
🇭🇺 Hungary’s new government rewrote the constitution with retroactive limits that block Viktor Orbán from becoming PM again and later approved rules barring long-serving MPs from the next parliamentary election.
🇩🇪 Germany’s domestic intelligence service classified the AfD as extremist, opening the door to much heavier surveillance of the country’s biggest opposition party.
🇫🇷 France upheld Marine Le Pen’s conviction, kept restrictions on her political future and ordered her to wear an electronic ankle tag.
🇪🇸 In Spain, more than a dozen people tied to Pedro Sánchez’s political and personal circle have been investigated or prosecuted in separate corruption cases, while Sánchez himself has not been charged.
🇬🇧 Britain postponed local elections during a sweeping reorganization of local government, triggering a petition accusing the government of voter suppression.
🇵🇱 And now Poland has police surrounding its Constitutional Tribunal while the government and opposition accuse each other of trying to seize control of the court.
The real red line in Europe may not be democracy... It may be leaving the club.

Apparently, Canadian sovereignty is SACRED when America is involved…
But when Europe starts talking about aligning our courts, policies and governance, suddenly it’s something worth applauding?
Funny how that works.
At what point does cooperation become surrendering control? Asking for over 40 million Canadians

Awesome.
Let’s have a referendum on it.
The Liberal’s latest arrogant fascist asshat can’t even be bothered taking it to the House so we can see for ourselves who the traitors are that want to sell the rest of us out to the worlds largest autocracy.
Walk the talk.

Great to attend the celebration of Below on Netflix in Ottawa last week. A great Canadian show, made by Canadian talent. It has reached number 1 in 82 countries, with just over 38 million total views.
Congratulations to the cast, the crew, and everyone who brought it to the screen. Stories like this put our creative workers front and center.
I also had the chance to catch up with Newfoundland’s own Mary Walsh, a Canadian legend.

Who can make this make sense?
Carney: Trump putting tariffs on Canadian industries like steel and aluminum is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Also Carney: I welcome EU’s carbon tax on our steel, aluminum and iron industries.
Canadians, can you see it now? Carney didn’t become PM to get a deal with Trump, make Canada an energy superpower or even build affordable homes.
Carney became PM to further his net zero/green energy agenda (and grow his personal net worth via Brookfield’s extensive stake in green energy).
“The future of trade does take carbon into account, Carbon is trade”
Carney and Ursula over the next several days will introduce their plan to soak businesses, industries and their citizens out of even more money & it will all be under the guise of “fighting the climate”
CBAM will make life less affordable, but Carney will claim it’s making businesses “more competitive”
These are not good people.
This guys theft from Canadian taxpayers puts Mark Carney to shame
Every day Russian strikes hit our energy infrastructure, causing extensive damage. Russia’s operation against our power generation, energy grids and interconnectors continues. It launched 17 ballistic missiles last night, some of which struck our oil refining infrastructure in Kremenchuk.
The Russians have not taken a single step toward energy de-escalation. We will act accordingly and justly.

Carney’s massive debt, broken promises & EU distraction in the 5th week of October.
1⃣ Carney will add $733 billion in debt over the next 5 years & is moving $400 billion of it away from parliamentary oversight according to PBO Annette Ryan.
2⃣ Carney drops the promise to build 500,000 homes annually while paying Build Canada Homes executives bonuses averaging $20,000. Yet he claims to be improving affordability in a tough housing market.
3⃣ After calling a snap election in order to “fight Trump,” David Eby & the B.C. NDP are crushed by the Conservatives who win a super majority.
4⃣ Under growing inflationary pressures, the Bank of Canada raises the interest rate to 2.5%, the first hike in 3 years. Banks immediately raise rates.
5⃣ Melanie Joly threatens legal action against the owner of Stelco & insults him saying “serious people follow the law.”
6⃣ 🇨🇦 aircraft maker Bombardier will invest $270M in its 🇺🇸 operations & create 800 jobs.
7⃣ MP Dan Mazier reveals that rejected asylum seekers who are wanted for removal & evading authorities still get free premium health coverage.
8⃣ In the wake of new 50% tariff on trash, Doug Ford admits that most of Ontario’s garbage goes to the 🇺🇸.
9⃣ “Associate membership” for 🇨🇦 in the EU is walked back and replaced with “ever closer association short of full membership itself.”
🔟 EU delegate Christine Anderson warns that adopting EU policies will make 🇨🇦 a living hell & Carney would be stupid to do so.
1⃣1⃣ For the second straight month, there was ZERO growth in 🇨🇦’s GDP. Growth over the past year has been a paltry 1%. Thx @cbcwatcher

Carney's "Ethics Screen" is a TOTAL SHAM.
Ethics Commissioner admits he has ZERO oversight over the Screen.
ONLY Carney's top advisors "decide" IN SECRET if Carney has a conflict of interest.
The Commissioner is totally IN THE DARK.
And we're told to "just trust" Team Carney.

Mark Carney didn't tell Canadians the truth of what is going on with Cohere. We need jail time for any politicians deceiving Canadians, enriching themselves or members of their party.
Dominic Barton Mark Carney appointed "Chair of the Board of Invest in Canada" just 4 months ago and was a partner with Radical Ventures before they invested in Cohere.
They infact invested in Cohere 3 times since 2021.
How many millions did Carney make his buddy Dom today?

🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Immigration Canada, in collaboration with the Government's Major Projects office, is actively working to replace Canadian workers with foreigners on domestic projects.
This alarming development was revealed when Michelle Rempel Garner questioned Valeria Walker, CEO of BHER, about IRCC's involvement in bringing in foreign workers. Walker, however, could not provide a definitive answer.
Further investigation uncovered a directive buried within IRCC's 2026–27 Departmental Plan, explicitly outlining IRCC's plan to cooperate with the Major Projects Office to hand over high-paying Canadian jobs to foreign workers.
The Great Replacement of the Canadian worker isn't a conspiracy; it's official government policy.

🇨🇦 CANADA LOST 110,000 JOBS IN TWO MONTHS.
BUT THE MOST DISTURBING NUMBER ISN’T 110,000.
It’s WHO lost those jobs.
Statistics Canada’s latest economic report reveals:
📉 August–September: 110,000 net jobs lost.
👨🎓 MORE THAN HALF of those losses were among Canadians aged 15–24.
📉 Full-time employment: DOWN 71,000.
🏛️ Public-sector employment: DOWN 90,000.
Think about what this means for Canada’s next generation.
Young Canadians are entering a labour market where finding that first job is becoming increasingly difficult.
Meanwhile, they’re confronting housing costs that make financial independence feel increasingly distant.
No first job.
No steady income.
No meaningful savings.
No realistic path to homeownership.
And this week, the Bank of Canada raised interest rates again.
Here’s the economic problem policymakers cannot ignore:
A COUNTRY CANNOT BUILD A PROSPEROUS FUTURE IF ITS YOUNG PEOPLE CANNOT GET A FOOT IN THE DOOR.
Canada needs more than headline GDP growth.
It needs productive investment, stronger businesses and opportunities for the generation expected to finance tomorrow’s economy.
Because the greatest economic loss isn’t just 110,000 jobs.
It’s the potential of an entire generation struggling to get started.

Hey Canada, WAKE THE FUCK UP!
🇨🇦 THE BANK OF CANADA JUST RELEASED A DISTURBING FORECAST FOR CANADIAN HOUSING.
And almost nobody is talking about it.
According to its October 2026 Monetary Policy Report, housing’s projected contribution to Canada’s annual GDP growth is:
🏠 2026: −0.1 percentage points
🏠 2027: +0.1 percentage points
🏠 2028: ZERO.
READ THAT AGAIN.
Canada’s central bank expects residential investment to contribute virtually NOTHING to economic growth through 2028.
Meanwhile:
📈 Interest rates just increased to 2.50%.
🏗️ Construction materials remain expensive.
💰 Developers face higher financing costs.
🏘️ Housing affordability remains a major obstacle.
And residential investment is projected to grow by less than 1% annually, on average, in 2027 and 2028.
Here’s the economic contradiction.
Canada needs more affordable housing.
But higher borrowing costs make new construction harder to finance.
Developers don’t build homes simply because politicians announce housing targets.
They build when projects are financially viable.
And when construction costs, financing expenses and expected selling prices don’t add up?
PROJECTS GET CANCELLED.
Here’s what Canadians should understand.
A weak housing market today does not automatically mean affordable housing tomorrow.
If construction slows too much, the country risks creating another supply problem when demand eventually recovers.
YOU CANNOT SOLVE A STRUCTURAL HOUSING SHORTAGE BY MAKING NEW HOMES UNECONOMICAL TO BUILD.
Canada needs affordable housing.
Canada needs productive investment.
And Canada needs economic policies that make both possible.
Because a housing recovery without construction is not a sustainable solution.
