But the MP whose questions triggered the disclosure says he’s “not satisfied at all” with the responses, accusing Ottawa of still hiding key information about the $6.4-billion bridge that became mired in cross-border political controversy this year. cbc.ca/news/canada/windsor/g…

CPC Leader Poilievre weighs in: xitter.cf/PierrePoilievre/status…
Mark Carney keeps telling us things that we later learned are false about the Gordie Howe Bridge and Canada-U.S. trade. He said Canada would get all the toll revenues from the bridge until our construction debts were repaid. False. Then he said the bridge opening was delayed because of technical aspects. A federal department now says it was a dispute about governance. Why not tell the truth?

NEW: Unifor National President says Stellantis *did* present the union with vehicle models to replace the Jeep Compass at the Brampton plant. Those models would have been set aside for the idled plant for 2028/2029, Payne said at a press conference not long ago.

She declined to say what the models were. I asked what changed between then and now with Stellantis saying it's considering selling the plant — she said to ask the company. (Which I definitely will.)

CBC Windsor was first in line to ask a question at Pierre Poilievre's press conference here yesterday. Staff skipped our reporter, let the other reporters ask questions, then ended the presser and walked away. Starts at around 13:23 here: youtube.com/watch?v=1REm0VUW…

Poilievre's office claimed to CTV Windsor that they prioritize local media at these types of events. But we ARE local media, which Poilievre's office (and CTV Windsor) know. They also claimed there was a time crunch. But then why skip the person who's first in line?

- The US Department of Agriculture correctly says on its website that "almost all" US agricultural exports to Canada face no tariffs at all - The super-high Canadian dairy tariffs Trump often talks about are *over-quota* tariffs...tariffs that apply only after certain negotiated quantities of zero-tariff exports are met...and those quotas are rarely hit, often not even approached - Most Canadian exports go to the US, but it's not close to "95%"; it was about 72% of goods exports in 2025, down from 76% in 2024 - The US goods-trade deficit with Canada has sometimes been $60 billion but often been much smaller, and it overwhelmingly exists for one reason: the US imports a lot of cheap Canadian oil
