Elon Musk: "Even if I'm criticized by the whole world, I won't let go of X." The reason makes you think.
Reporter: "Why are you so attached to X?"
Elon: "What do you mean by that?"
Reporter: "Since the acquisition, it's been nothing but criticism, right?"
Elon: "That's true."
Reporter: "Politicians criticize you too."
Elon: "Yes."
Reporter: "There are conflicts with regulatory authorities."
Elon: "That's true."
Reporter: "Honestly, wouldn't it be easier to sell it?"
Elon: "Why?"
Reporter: "You have Tesla and SpaceX, don't you?"
Elon: "I do."
Reporter: "There's no need to stay in the center of controversies, right?"
Elon: "But what would that solve?"
Reporter: "...... Huh?"
Elon: "I think it's important to have a place where opinions can be exchanged freely."
Reporter: "But there are unpleasant opinions too, aren't there?"
Elon: "Of course."
Reporter: "There are wrong opinions too."
Elon: "That's true."
Reporter: "So, shouldn't there be restrictions?"
Elon: "How far to restrict?"
Reporter: "That's..."
Elon: "Who decides which opinions are correct?"
Reporter: "..."
Elon: "It's easy to protect only the opinions we agree with."
Reporter: "Yes."
Elon: "But what about when contrary opinions arise?"
Reporter: "..."
Elon: "That's where the real test of free speech happens, don't you think?"

The fact that these alleged incidents happened 15-25 years ago and weren’t reported to the police or made public even during the height of metoo but instead well into the 2020s is all the proof you need that this was, in fact, driven by his ideological shift.

Being right years ahead of others isn’t nearly as satisfying as people think. Nobody apologizes for treating you like a crazy. They just come back years later, repeating what you told them as if it’s some groundbreaking revelation because they finally heard it from someone else.

Young white men (ages 18-25) swung from +28 for Republicans in 2024 to +17 for Democrats in 2026. That's a 45-point swing in 2 years that can't be blamed on demographics. They have massive debt, few jobs, high prices, a scary future, and there's nothing for them in the Iran War.

Got into a debate with, let’s call her a colleague today, who genuinely believes Trump and Elon Musk deserve to be dead.
I asked her, “How would you feel if someone wished death on your family because they disagreed with their politics?”
Her: “That’s completely different.”
Me: “How?”
Her: “Because Trump and Elon are dangerous people.”
Me: “So that makes wishing death on someone acceptable?”
Her: “You just don’t get it.”
At that point, I ended the conversation and said I’m done and she tried to continue to be insane and also threw out racist stuff.
I don’t care how much I dislike someone’s politics or truly anything about them... I’d never wish violence or death on them.
There’s genuinely something wrong with people who think this way.
You cannot reason with someone who has convinced themselves that hatred is a virtue.

Alabama is electing transexuals.
Thank goodness Iran is no longer 2 weeks away from a nuke.
BIG news out of Alabama, as Allison Montgomery has become the first ever openly transgender state legislator in Alabama history!
She flipped the Trump+5 #HD25 on the west side of Huntsville

You lost because you didn't codify DOGE, you didn't arrest anyone for Covid-the laptop-the raid-J6, etc, you didn't pass the Save Act, you didn't stop the fraud and abuse that's rampant, etc, etc, etc

After DOGE, Elon came to a conclusion most people missed.
He tried to reform the state from the inside. He failed. And he said it plainly: the government can't fix its own deficit. Nobody in power actually wants to cut. The machine protects itself.
So he drew the only logical conclusion. If the state can't be reformed, there are only two ways this ends.
Either global bankruptcy. Debt keeps compounding, interest payments eat the budget, and the system collapses under its own weight.
Or robots. AI and robotics grow the economy so fast that the debt becomes manageable, and abundance makes the old fights over scarcity irrelevant.
Here's the part almost nobody sees.
For two centuries, capitalism has had a marketing problem. Its gains are real but slow and invisible. 2% growth a year doesn't feel like anything. Your life gets better over 30 years and you never connect it to the system that did it. Meanwhile, the left's promises feel immediate and concrete: a check, a subsidy, a benefit. That's why the left wins on promises even when it can't deliver them. Capitalism produces the wealth, socialism takes the credit.
Robots break that asymmetry.
When productivity doubles in a few years instead of a few decades, people will see it. Things get cheaper, services get better, opportunities appear, in real time. For the first time in history, people will connect capitalism and their rising standard of living directly, almost instantly. The causal chain becomes visible.
And that changes everything politically.
So there are two scenarios.
Scenario one: we stay in the current inertia. No breakthrough, or a breakthrough we regulate to death. The debt wins. Living standards stagnate, then fall. A frustrated electorate turns to whoever promises the most, and that pushes toward a hard collectivist left. But collectivism fails, as it always does. And when it fails, the most organized, most disciplined collectivist force left standing isn't the old left. It's radical Islamism. Bankruptcy, then communism, then something worse.
Scenario two: robots win. Abundance arrives, and it arrives visibly. The link between free enterprise and prosperity becomes obvious to everyone. And this is the key point: it becomes obvious to everyone, including the minorities the left was counting on. Because their long-term incentive is the same as everyone else's. A kid in the suburbs gains infinitely more from a booming, abundant West than from a bankrupt state handing out promises it can't keep. Abundance is the most powerful integration machine ever built.
That's the Western renaissance.
The West doesn't need to win the culture war by arguing. It needs to win it by delivering. And for the first time, it has the technology to deliver fast enough for people to notice.
The race isn't left vs right anymore. It's robots vs bankruptcy.

Had a long conversation with a Republican boomer today outside of a voting station.
Was trying to explain to him I was Republican but think Republicans will lose this election & in 2028.
He didn’t listen at all. Just started spouting low IQ Zionist media talking points that he heard on TV. Zero ability to listen to valid perspective.
I tried to tell him how younger conservatives felt. He dismissed it completely and acted like it doesn’t exist.
They are insanely narcissistic and think elections are just about what they heard on TV.

All of this was avoidable.
All Republicans had to do was keep the promises they made to win in 2024.
This is the biggest fumble in modern political history.

I don't understand how this is remotely controversial: if the GOP loses the House and/or the Senate today it will be 100% because of the Iran war.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis:
Some of these Republicans are saying, "Oh, well, the gas, don't worry. It's no big deal." Or they're trying to blame Biden.
No, no. Listen, we've just got to be honest. Gas is higher. It hurts people, working-class people, and it's higher because of the Iran conflict.
That's just the fact. If you can't admit that to voters, then you're gaslighting them, and they're not going to listen to you on other things.

The old man was treated unfairly in 2016, when they tried to crown Hillary
2018, when they pretended he was a Russian spy
2020, when they pretended Covid was the plague
2024, when they prosecuted him for the crime of beating Hillary
But there’s nothing unfair about the ass-whipping he is about to take. He deserves every inch of it and more. This time around he has become the grifting incompetent doddering fool they said he was, he has leaned in to the caricature so far he’s fallen over and taken the Republican Party with him. I take no joy in writing this, I voted for him in 2024 and hoped for better. But the next two years will be brutal, and he has only himself and the thieving courtiers he installed around him to blame.
Happy Election Day, El Hombre Naranja
