🚨 BREAKING: A Black couple showed up to tour an apartment in Queens... and the broker accidentally texted THEM instead of the owner: "Ugh. They are Black."
They'd just moved from Delaware for her new job. Now they're SUING Douglas Elliman, the agent AND the owners.
"It doesn't change the pain. It doesn't take away the pain you caused us that day."
Think about it. They were judged before they even had a chance.
They only found out because she texted the wrong person. Most people never do.

James Gunn says he was legally forced to remove all references to Batman in ‘CLAYFACE’
“We somehow lost the rights to Batman when Paramount acquired WB.”
(via: @JamesGunn | Threads)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The quote and claim attributed to James Gunn are fabricated; he made no such statement. Clayface lacks direct Batman references by design as an early-timeline DCU film, with Batman IPs actively promoted and projects continuing after the Skydance acquisition.

This is a must-watch to the end. There is so much to unpack here, and this Black man does an exceptional job unpacking it himself while giving Bradenton police a lesson on his rights.
On February 8, 2026, he was stopped while riding his bicycle at night in Bradenton, Florida. But the conversation raises an issue far bigger than this one encounter.
Walking while Black. Driving while Black. Riding a bike while Black. Our freedom to move through our communities should not depend on whether an officer thinks we belong.
When one officer tells him that obeying the law means he won’t have to worry about being pulled over, his response is direct:
“I have to stop being Black to stop being pulled over by you.”
The answer to concerns about racial profiling cannot simply be “obey the law.” All too often, we know this playbook: Black people treated as suspicious while going about their daily lives.
This is not a new concern. It is a documented pattern.
Knowing your rights is important. Officers respecting those rights is essential.
Toward the end, he explains that he was simply trying to get home with groceries for his mother, who has diabetes, to help care for her.
Public safety should protect that ordinary freedom, not make it something Black people have to defend.

Well that's a lie. Black women utilize police intervention for IPV at 2x the rates of white women in the NCVS data; & other studies show police are the most utilized IPV service by Black women in the U.S. Police utilization a/g BM is also a form of coercive control & IPV.

Michael B. Jordan reportedly said about his past relationship with Lori Harvey:
“My relationship with her taught me a lot. At least I no longer have someone asking me for $50K every week like I did when we were dating. Our relationship felt like ‘pay before affection.’ Whenever I refused to give her the weekly allowance, she wouldn’t even let me touch or hug her.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
No credible sources or interviews show Michael B. Jordan making these statements about Lori Harvey. His actual comments described the relationship positively as a learning experience after an amicable split.

Here’s an old clip of comedian Ryan Davis destroying the Democrats. He didn’t miss, lmao
I think these kind of shows and movies have allowed for a degree of contempt for black men that’s unparalleled. Whole generations have been raised on this notion that black men are philanders, abusers, rapists, and everything else under the sun, while black women are long suffering, feminine entities of light who have to endure these problematic caveman.
This narrative has gotten so old and played that younger generations of black men have already started walking away. And there seems to be very little effort to dismantle this, so every year I see new media reinforcing this hatred for men.
