There appears to be considerable misunderstanding and misinterpretation surrounding the hoarding tender floated by the Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB).
Let me clarify the facts. Of the four floating hoardings proposed, two are existing structures near the Sea Link, and only two are new proposed installations.
The information being circulated that 20 hoardings are going to come up in the sea is completely false and misleading.
As the Minister for Ports and Chairman of MMB, I would like to put these facts on record. I am also a proud Mumbaikar, and would never support any initiative that compromises Mumbai’s marine environment or obstructs its beautiful waterfront views.
We are happy to engage with anyone seeking clarification and share all relevant information transparently.
Let us not unnecessarily politicise this issue. The Devendraji Fadnavis-led government is committed to both environmental responsibility and progressive development. The two must go hand in hand.
I hope this puts the facts in perspective.

Nashik, Maharashtra: On releasing water into the Godavari River specifically for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela, Minister Girish Mahajan says, “We are not going to release any water specifically for the Kumbh Mela. We will release water based on public demand, as villages downstream are facing drinking water issues. However, we will not release any water solely for the Kumbh Mela. We are also aware that there is a drought and farmers are distressed. We will not allow any wastage of water.”

Nashik, Maharashtra: On Simhastha Kumbh Mela, Minister Girish Mahajan says, "I feel that we are currently spending around ₹25,000 crores on this, and all works are being given momentum. The Kumbh Mela is going to take place in August in '27. Right now, there are still 10-11 months left, and by then, all the works will be completed. This time, the Kumbh is going to be very wonderful. The number of devotees, which previously was around 3 to 3.5 crores, is now estimated and anticipated to be around 12 crores—meaning four times, four times more devotees will come here..."

महाराष्ट्रातील महत्त्वाच्या दूध संघांपैकी एक गोकुळ दूध संघाच्या निवडणुकीत काँग्रेसचे नेते सतेज(बंटी) पाटील (@satejp) यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील 'राजर्षी शाहू शेतकरी समविचारी आघाडी' पॅनेलने विजय मिळवला. हा पराभव सत्ताधाऱ्यांच्या इतका जिव्हारी लागला आहे की, तांत्रिक बाबींचा आधार घेऊन अध्यक्ष निवडीची बैठकच होऊ न दिल्याचा प्रकार समोर आला आहे. हे अतिशय संतापजनक आणि लोकशाही मूल्यांची पायमल्ली करणारे वर्तन असून, आम्ही याचा तीव्र शब्दांत निषेध करतो.
गोकुळच्या सभासदांनी आपला कौल स्पष्टपणे दिला आहे. त्यांनी निवडून दिलेल्या प्रतिनिधींना संस्थेचा कारभार करू देणे आणि या जनादेशाचा आदर राखणे अपेक्षित आहे. त्याऐवजी संस्थेच्या कारभारात वारंवार हस्तक्षेप करण्याचे प्रयत्न करणे हा सभासदांच्या विश्वासाचा आणि त्यांनी दिलेल्या कौलाचा अपमान आहे.
या संपूर्ण प्रक्रियेत आम्ही सतेज पाटील आणि गोकुळच्या सभासदांसोबत खंबीरपणे उभे आहोत. सत्ताधाऱ्यांनी हस्तक्षेपाचे हे प्रयत्न थांबवून अध्यक्ष निवडीची प्रक्रिया सुरळीत पार पडू द्यावी. गोकुळच्या सभासदांचा आणि सहकारी चळवळीच्या तत्वांचा अवमान कोणत्याही परिस्थितीत खपवून घेतला जाणार नाही.

In the Adarsh Campus school principal Basheer Shaikh, case Latur Police traced victim on 4th October & recorded her statement.
FIR was registered u/s 74,76 and 8,12 of POCSO. Basheer Shaik was arrested on 8th October.
Knowing the seriousness of the offence, Subsequently, on 10th October an SIT under Lady IPS officer was formed to look into the case.
Following which 2 more victims were traced and cases were registered against the same accused,
on 11th & 22nd October u/s 74 BNS and sec 12 of POCSO.
The accused was arrested in all the three cases and in custody as of now.

टोरेंट हायड्रो पॉवर प्रकल्पासाठी होत असलेल्या वृक्षतोडीच्या विरोधात आज २८ ऑक्टोबर २०२६ रोजी कर्जत येथे सभेला संबोधित केलं.
आज महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेची सभा आहे म्हणल्यावर कर्जत येथे इंटरनेट बंद केलंय म्हणे. इंटरनेट बंद केलं म्हणून सूर्य उगवायचा थांबतो का? नुसतं कर्जतमध्ये बंद केलंय, पण बाकी अख्खं जग बघतंय. अर्थ्या तासात सगळं भाषण युट्युबवर पडेल मग सगळं जग बघेल. हे लोकं कोणत्या जगात जगतात तेच कळत नाही. मनात काळं असेल तर अशा गोष्टी करायच्या सुचतात.
* आज सकाळी जंगलात जी झाडे तोडली आहेत ती बघायला गेलो होतो, तिथं लाकडं रचून ठेवली होती. तोडलेल्या झाडांची रचलेली लाकडं पाहून जंगलाच्या अंत्यसंस्काराला आल्यासारखं वाटलं.
* हे राज्यात बसलेले मुख्यमंत्री आणि उपमुख्यमंत्री यांना केंद्रात बसलेल्या दोघांकडून शून्य किंमत आहे. कोणता प्रकल्प करायचा, कसा करायचा हे सगळं दिल्लीत ठरतं.
* मी पूर्वीपासून सांगत होतो, हा महाराष्ट्र जर या दोघांच्या हातात गेला तर महाराष्ट्र महाराष्ट्राच्या हातात राहणार नाही.
* आज तुम्ही रडत बसता आणि निवडणुकीच्या तोंडावर जातीच्या, धर्माच्या नावावर यांना मतदान करता. परत पुढचे पाच वर्ष रडत बसता. किती काळ हे चालू राहणार.
* आमच्या लाडक्या बहिणींना १५०० रुपये देतायत. हे १५०० रुपये देऊन तुमची तोंडं बंद केली जात आहेत.
* त्यादिवशी मी मुख्यमंत्र्यांचं निवेदन ऐकत होतो. मुख्यमंत्री निवेदनात म्हणाले, केंद्राने आणि एका खाजगी कंपनीने ठरवून आम्हाला सांगितलं आणि त्यानंतर हा प्रकल्प सुरू झाला. हे सगळं केंद्रात ठरतं हे मुख्यमंत्र्यांनीच सांगितलं.
* सत्तेची भिती, पदाची भिती या भितीमधून या गोष्टी घडतात. हा असा गप्प, शांत राहणारा, मान खाली घालून चालणारा हा महाराष्ट्र? गुजरातमधली २ माणसं आमचा महाराष्ट्र चालवणार?
* आज मी जंगलात भेट दिली तेव्हा मला महिला भेटल्या. हात जोडून विनंती करत होत्या, आमचं जंगल वाचवा. तुमच्यावर हात जोडायची वेळ येते? तुमचे कोयते काय करतात अशावेळी ?
* आज भीमाशंकरचा प्रकल्प आलाय. त्याचं टेंडर वगैरे काही नाही असाच देऊन टाकलाय. महाराष्ट्रात सह्याद्रीच्या कुशीत अशाच प्रकारचे एकूण २३ प्रकल्प येत आहेत.
* यापुढे महाराष्ट्रात जे खाजगी प्रकल्प येत आहेत. त्यांना जे पाणी आणि वीज लागणार आहे त्याची तरतूद व्हावी यासाठीची पूर्वतयारी म्हणून हे प्रकल्प सुरू केले जात आहेत
* या सगळ्यातून तुमचे मतदारसंघ फोडले जात आहेत असे प्रकल्प आले की तुम्ही आहात त्या ठिकाणाहून दुसरीकडे स्थलांतरित होणार. आणि तिथे दुसरे लोकं स्थायिक होणार. हे सगळं तुम्ही समजून घेतलं पाहिजे.
* सर्बियामध्ये तरुणांनी, तिथल्या जेनझीने सत्तापालट करून दाखवला. मी आधीही माझ्या भाषणांत सांगितलंय जेनझी या महाराष्ट्राच्या खेडापाड्यातसुद्धा आहे. तुम्ही कधी जागे होणार आहात?
* तुम्ही जर शांत बसणार असाल तर मला तुमचं नेतृत्व नाही करायचं. हा महाराष्ट्र छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांचा आहे म्हणायचं आणि पेटून उठायचं नाही याला काय अर्थ आहे?
* गडचिरोलीत शेतीची सुपीक जमीन आणि जंगलातली झाडे कापून ती जमीन एका खाणीसाठी दिली.
* जंगलातली झाडं जेव्हा तोडली तेव्हा त्या झाडावर राहणारे पक्षी वर हवेत घिरट्या घालत होते. ही घिरट्या घालायची वेळ पुढच्या काळात तुमच्यावरसुद्धा येणार आहे.
* हे सगळे प्रकार, त्यासाठी केलेली आंदोलनं, मोर्चे हे तुम्ही निवडणुकीच्यावेळी लक्षात ठेवलं पाहिजे. नाहीतर उपयोग काय या सगळ्या आंदोलनांचा?
* ज्या सह्याद्रीत शिवछत्रपती खेळले, बागडले तो सह्याद्री आज महाराष्ट्राचेच लोक संपवत आहेत. आणि महाराष्ट्रातला नागरिक हताश होऊन बघत बसला आहे. याबद्दल शिवछत्रपतींना काय वाटत असेल, याचा एकदा विचार करा.
* या सगळ्या अन्यायाविरोधात जर आपल्याला लढता येत नसेल तर परमेश्वरच वाचवू शकेल या महाराष्ट्राला.
* शिवरायांनी आज्ञापत्रात सांगून ठेवलंय कोणतंही झाड कापले जाऊ नये. निदान त्या शिवछत्रपतींचं तरी ऐकणार आहोत की नाही आपण?
* महावितरणचा IPO डिसेंबरमध्ये महाराष्ट्र सरकार लाँच करणार आहे. म्हणजे यापुढे तुमच्या घरात येणाऱ्या वीजेचा दर हे सरकार नाही तर एक खाजगी कंपनी ठरवणार आहे.
* जिथे जिथे महाराष्ट्रावर संकट येईल तिथे महाराष्ट्र एकत्र आला पाहिजे. हा महाराष्ट्र वेगवेगळा ठेऊन चालणार नाही नाहीतर यांना जे साध्य करायचंय ते साध्य होईल.
* उद्या टोरंटचा हा प्रकल्प पूर्ण झाल्यानंतर याचं वितरण कसं होणार आहे? कुठे होणार आहे? कुणामार्फत होणार आहे? या सगळ्या प्रश्नांची उत्तरे सरकारने जरूर दिली पाहिजेत.
* तुम्हाला मी आत्ता सांगतो, आज या गोष्टी तुम्ही हसण्यावारी नेत आहात. भविष्यात तुमची पोरं म्हणतील, माझा बाप नालायक निघाला. जेव्हा महाराष्ट्राकडे लक्ष द्यायला पाहिजे होतं तेव्हा लक्ष दिलं नाही.
* जर तुम्ही जागे असाल आणि पेटून उठलात तर त्या एकाच गोष्टीला जगातलं कोणतंही सरकार घाबरतं.हे जर नको असेल तर लोण्यासारखे थंड बसा.
* जर आपली जंगलं वाचवायची असतील तर शिवछत्रपतींचे आज्ञापत्र वाचा. महाराष्ट्रातला माणूस पेटून उठला या गोष्टीचा शिवछत्रपतींनाही आनंद वाटेल.
* मी उद्योगधंद्यांविरोधातला माणूस नाही, महाराष्ट्राचा विकास झाला पाहिजे हे माझंही मत आहे. पण महाराष्ट्राला काय हवं आहे हे महाराष्ट्रातल्या माणसांनी ठरवलं पाहिजे. दुसरं कोणी ठरवून चालणार नाही.
* मला फक्त एवढंच सांगायचंय जिवंत रहा. जी लढाई करायचीय त्याचं नेतृत्व तुम्हाला करायचंय. मी तुमच्या बरोबर आहे पण नेतृत्व तुम्हालाच करायचंय. मलाही बघायचं आहे, महाराष्ट्र जिवंत आहे की नाही.
* शिवछत्रपतींच्या मृत्यूनंतर सुद्धा १२५ वर्षे या संपूर्ण हिंद प्रांतावर मराठ्यांनी राज्य केलं. तो मराठी माणूस आज शांत कसा बसलाय?
* मला पोलिसांनाही सांगायचंय त्यांना साथ देऊ नका. तुम्हीही या महाराष्ट्राचे नागरिक आहात, तुम्हालाही मुलं-बाळं आहेत. उद्या तुमच्याही घरावर टकटक होणार.

ठाणे आणि नवी मुंबईतील फ्लेमिंगो अभयारण्याच्या परिसरातील १४३ एकर जमिनीच्या मुद्द्यावरून पर्यावरण संवर्धनाबाबत गंभीर प्रश्न उपस्थित होत आहेत. विकासाच्या नावाखाली निसर्गाचा ऱ्हास होत असेल, तर त्याची किंमत पक्षी, जैवविविधता आणि पुढच्या पिढ्यांना मोजावी लागेल.

Mumbai, 27 October 2026: A dark day has fallen on the Indian film and television industry. Veteran director and producer Brijendra Pal Singh, popularly known as B.P. Singh, passed away today at the age of 77 following a heart attack.
B.P. Singh was the creative force behind some of Indian television's most iconic shows, including CID, Aahat and Adalat. CID became one of the longest-running crime shows in the world and turned characters like ACP Pradyuman, Daya and Abhijeet into household names. Aahat gave Indian audiences a new kind of suspense and horror storytelling. These shows are still watched and remembered by millions today.
An alumnus of FTII Pune, he began as a cinematographer and grew into a producer-director who changed the face of Hindi television. He gave opportunities to hundreds of technicians, writers, actors and workers, and set a benchmark for quality and consistency in television.
His passing marks the end of an era. The entire industry is in shock, and the loss is deeply felt by everyone who worked with him and by the audiences who grew up on his shows.
We pray that God grants peace to his soul and gives his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

हा पुण्यातील व्हिडिओ आहे..एक महिला पोलिस wrong side ने गाडी चालवत असताना एका बाईकवाल्याचा अपघात झाला असता,पण तो वाचला..त्याने व्हिडिओ काढला..त्यानुसार या गाडीला नंबर प्लेट नाही..आणि पोलिस अधिकारी या अवस्थेत बोलताना दिसत आहे..
खरं तर पोलिसांनी नागरिकांची रक्षा केली पाहिजे इथे नागरिकांना पोलिसांपासून धोका आहे...
