With Darline Graham in trouble in South Carolina, remembering this famous tweet from her brother.
Elon Musk was among the biggest losers of election night.
He doled out around $446 million — the most a non-candidate has ever spent on an election — but his preferred candidates were swamped, losing almost everywhere.

Yes, besides complaining about Jessica Tarlov on Truth Social, the President of the United States is sending texts to the other hosts of The Five to be read live on Fox News airwaves about his hatred of Tarlov.

Hundreds of Minnesotans are leaving their "I voted" stickers at the site where Alex Pretti was murdered by ICE agents.
Trump claims he and Bibi agreed to end the $4 billion in aid. Bibi's Finance Ministry basically responded with:
"We have zero idea what he's talking about."
It's a pathetic, desperate stunt to trick people into voting for his party. He's not ending the aid; he's just lying about it

Russians have released drone footage of them dropping a multi-ton guided bomb on a school in Zaporizhzhia, setting it to pop music.
This strike killed over 30 people.

By December 2025, after seeing the polling sink worse and worse, that the poor economic job approval was a significant anchor around Trump and his party.
None of this is rocket science. It just requires listening to voters. nytimes.com/2025/12/11/opini…

Writing this in my personal capacity, but I have been flying these types of aircraft for more than 20 years, with over 8,000 hours, and have reasonable familiarity with how the charter world operates. I feel compelled to post after seeing commentary about the Lear 60 crash, from missile strikes to DEI to critiquing this poor woman’s final radio calls.
That last part is what I find most troubling. She was the second-in-command (SIC), and while she was empowered to point out mistakes as part of good crew resource management, she was doing her job, communicating with ATC right to the end in a terrifying situation. She likely knew before many of those calls that she was going to die. I have heard final calls from friends, from military pilots with thousands of hours in fighter aircraft, and they are just as heartbreaking because they know the end is approaching.
I understand the public interest given the footage and audio. But you do not know the aircraft’s maintenance history, whether there was a structural failure, if any failure was induced by turbulence, overspeed, or overcontrol, or everything happening in that cockpit. I am sure weather will be part of the investigation, but beyond that, it is speculation. The charter industry routinely hires commercial pilots very early in their careers to gain experience alongside an ATP-qualified captain before they move up to the airlines. She would still have the appropriate training, qualifications, and checkouts by an FAA examiner or designee.
Let people investigate, learn, and share the facts. Be respectful to those who perished and the families who carry their memories. God bless them and their loved ones.
Stevens offers her most detailed explanation (in writing) of what happened. Distilled further: She made demands of him, which, she acknowledges, he met. But because he didn't want her to campaign with him because she was making demands, she then pulled her endorsement

Senior official tells me this was in response to Iran firing at a US aircraft Monday; not the start of new expanded strikes by the US.
EXCLU: The U.S. attacked Iran’s Qeshm Island on Monday, U.S. officials said, in the latest of a series of limited strikes Washington has secretly carried out against the country in recent weeks as President Trump touted the possibility of a diplomatic deal. Scott, you flew to Minnesota to announce $41 million in alleged Medicaid fraud. Good. Investigate and prosecute it.
Then KARE 11 asked why DHS paid $495.6 million for a prison CoreCivic offered Minnesota for $75 million in 2025. That's a $420.6 million price gap, roughly ten times the alleged fraud you came to condemn.
CoreCivic says independent appraisers used replacement costs. Fine. Release their work, the negotiations, and every approval. Especially since CoreCivic donated $500,000 to Trump's inauguration.
Instead, you called the question “a waste of time.”
So $41 million gets a press conference. $420 million gets a shrug. That's quite a selective war on waste.
