Something that really bothers me is people who don't take their appearance seriously when speaking to a Black audience. He would not be looking like that if he was giving a speech at JP Morgan. It says a lot about how they view Black people subconsciously

Both my kids were/are educated by DC. DC approved a new bridge and trail near me. Repairs were made at the playground. DC installed a dog park. DC supported our 4th of July Parade. Urban Forestry is preserving our tree canopy. Bike lanes (I love then, so hate me) …..

We have loved living in DC, but after PK4 ends it's hard to justify staying here. We can move across the river to Virginia for much better schools, lower taxes, better services, and lower crime.

Everyone belly aching about the DC foie gras ban as trivial - feel free to advance your own issue & get engaged with your own government. There is nothing stopping you. Criticizing others for advocating for their values while not being active yourself is just having a tantrum.

I’m proud of all the work that folks did to get a ban on forced feeding of birds on the DC ballot. I’m voting yes on i86 and encouraging others to join me.
