Antivaxers like @MakisMedicine are wounded by the truth.
Antivaxers fanned the flames that was COVID-19 mortality during the pandemic.

Let's keep going.

This isn't a vaccine. It's a decoy.
And it could change how we fight viruses forever.
Here’s how it works.🧵
SARS-CoV-2 wastewater trendline in Hawaii for 2 sites hit mid 200s
Biofire reports 2.5% SARS-CoV-2 positivity, highest since March 1-7 as of TODAY
Verily: West: 73.4, National: 73.7, South: 90.7 Midwest: 68.3 Northeast: 63.8 as of Aug 4
WWscan is even higher with 75.5 for the West.
This is 12.2x higher than the June low!
🚨WWscan has the worst ever high+med to low ratio this summer, and only 3 stale sites.

Putting masking at #3? I love it!
Ok, listen up my fellow maskers, they HAVE to put vaccines first, what with all of the antivaxxers around.
Stay at home if sick? Removal of source of aerosols - great!

A recent study presented "the first direct evidence of deficient high-energy phosphate metabolism in the central nervous system of patients with PCCo (long COVID)..
The study found a large, significant cluster of reduced ATP/PCr concentration..centered on the cingulate cortex in the long-COVID patients.
This indicated that this area of the brain was experiencing a significant energy deficit..
the finding was solid; i.e., the long-COVID and the recovered COVID-19 patients had very different ratios..
The researchers dug deeper and assessed the phosphorus levels across the three different regions of the cingulate cortex and found reduced levels across all of them.
Lower ATP/PCr ratios in the anterior cingulate cortex were significantly correlated with poorer performance on a cognitive test called MOCA.
That suggested that the energy deficit in the ACC (anterior cingulate cortex) may be contributing to the brain fog in long COVID."
I knew it!

Autoimmune disorders range from mildly unpleasant through to profoundly disturbing.
Covid infections increase the likelihood of pretty much all of them.

When I look at the statement issued by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's spokesperson regarding Mark Dolan’s remarks, I see a masterclass in dismantling toxic commentary. For too long, public discourse surrounding the royal family has blurred the lines between consenting adults in the public eye and innocent minors. This response cuts straight through that noise, and it resonates deeply because it firmly establishes a long-overdue ethical boundary.
As I read the rep's words, the distinction they draw is impossible to ignore. There is a fundamental difference between critiquing public figures and choosing to demonize two young children who have done absolutely nothing to warrant it. Commentators often try to script future generational conflicts—framing young cousins as inevitable rivals—purely for sensationalism and ratings. The Sussexes' statement exposes this tactic for what it is, calling it an "extraordinary and irresponsible" attempt to manufacture drama using children as props.
What makes this response truly effective to me is how it refuses to play the soundbite game. By directly pointing out that these remarks were made for the sake of a "provocative soundbite," the statement strips away the commentator's manufactured authority and lays bare the underlying motivation: clicks, outrage, and cheap headlines. At the same time, it gracefully sidesteps getting dragged into debates about Harry and Meghan themselves—acknowledging that people hold varying views about the adults—while successfully walling off Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet from collateral damage. Ultimately, this statement stands as a powerful reminder that no matter what adult disputes or institutional politics are at play, children should never be weaponized or scripted as future antagonists. #meghan #princeharry

As you may know well,
"Long COVID is characterized by persistent low-grade inflammation, T- and B-cell dysregulation, and prolonged adaptive immune activation.
Humoral responses remain elevated, while T-cell exhaustion and loss of coordination between immune compartments are common.
Autoimmune phenomena, including latent and polyautoimmunity targeting cytokines, thyroid antigens, and interferons, are frequently observed.
Proteomic, metabolic, and vascular perturbations, complement activation, and thromboinflammatory processes contribute to ongoing symptoms..
These immune alterations correlate with fatigue, cognitive impairment, respiratory dysfunction, and reduced quality of life in both adults and children.
[In conclusion,] SARS-CoV-2 infection leaves a lasting immunological footprint marked by chronic inflammation, adaptive immune dysregulation, autoimmunity, and vascular perturbations."
COVID causes a chronically offending viral immune dysregulation (COVID).
