Society says:
1. Go to college
2. Get a 9-5 job
3. Work until you're 60
The better path:
1. Get a job that doesn't take all your time
2. Use extra time to build income streams
3. Scale your extra income sources
4. Finally quit your 9-5 job
5. Achieve time freedom

If you’re a new business owner - you’re first objective is to let people know about your stuff.
For context: that usually means four hours per day minimum spent promoting the thing you sell.
After all, you can’t improve your stuff until you’ve got someone to give you feedback.

Clearbit just bought ChatGPT+ for the entire company, and then had someone from OpenAI visit our offsite to demonstrate different use-cases.
We then broke into sessions and experimented with automating different company processes.
Probably a good policy for any company tbh.

You want the same old shit? Keep doing the same old shit.

Plan your work week in blocks & batches, not slivers.
One 3-hour block dedicated to a big project is 5-10x's more effective than three 1-hour blocks.
Blocks = Focus & progress
Slivers = Productivity "death by 1000 cuts" due to inefficient transition time

Don't underestimate the power of merely showing up. It's a cliché for a damn good reason.

On avg, Kids receive 400+ negative communications from adults & peers per day & only 40 positive or encouraging responses per day.
Consider how draining that must be mentally!

My recommended path of entrepreneurship...
1st company - start a cash flowing agency to pay bills
2nd company - build a sellable asset to make you financially secure like a profitable SaaS
3rd company - swing for the fences and disrupt a market like Microsoft or @microacquire
