❤️💙 Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding:
"...I feel like this is the first place I've ever been and the first job that I've ever had that I knew I was where I'm supposed to be. And it's not based on the job...it's not based on the money. When we made the decision to come over here for my three kids, I knew I'm gonna be in Oxford. There's a peace, I don't care what you do...if you know where you're going to be and where you're supposed to be, the investment is different....everything about it."

#JSUAlums: Behind every great man, is a great woman. Scott Colom's wife, Nadia, is Jackson State University alumna and former Prancing J-Sette captain. 🔥

I had a great time stopping by two Jackson staples: Offbeat, a cool local record shop, and Marshall’s Music & Bookstore, the oldest Black-owned bookstore in the country. Of course I left with a new record for my wife and picked up a book for my daughters.
Small businesses are a source of pride in our communities and a big part of what makes Mississippi special. In the U.S. Senate, I’ll work to make sure our entrepreneurs and small business owners have the support and resources they need to keep our local economies thriving.

Find your own. Be horrified at the aggregate.
WE APPOINT @kermitdavisjr AS BASKETBALL MISTER ROGERS
EVERYTHING WILL BE OK
This Ole Miss team has complimentary skillets for days.
Last year’s team felt like batteries repelling each other.
This year? SHOOTERS! PASSERS! REBOUNDERS!
TEAMMATES!

"Delegate. Be open to new ideas. Prioritize player tendencies and preferences over system. These are some of Boynton’s adjustments as he succeeds May and tries to keep the Wolverines atop the sport"
"I didn’t do a good enough job of empowering my staff (at Oklahoma State)"
"If you find guys who are good at something, let them be really good at that.”
Spent some time with Mike Boynton's Wolverines as he looks to keep them atop college basketball and cement himself as the long-term successor to Dusty May. Free to read.

And with the help of you and others who believed that Mississippi Matters!
.@scott_colom quietly ran one of the best campaigns in years, and he did it with raw talent, deep faith, and a lot of heart.
WELCOME TO WOKE MISS, BABY
THREAD: Affidavit ballots broke for Democrat Scott Colom by a 69%-29% margin in Lafayette County, Mississippi, the home of the University of Mississippi.
The affidavits far exceed his overall lead there against Cindy Hyde-Smith, which is 49%-48%. 1/

THE BARNTHOUSE POLL
I did the ESPN blind resume ranking and came up with this. Pretty fun.
