Picture a trade five years out. Your agent rebalances. It hits an exchange's agent. That agent pings a liquidity provider. A market maker hedges the other side before your order clears. Four institutions. Zero humans in the loop. The thing being traded is increasingly compute itself. Every handoff crosses a wall. Whose rules apply. What it can commit you to. Who is accountable when it is wrong. That is not a security problem. It is a governance problem.

Incredible opportunity to help build THE bio-defense prime.
Hundreds of companies in aerospace deploy hardware for defense, but in biology, there’s just Pilgrim. We’re looking for an exceptional engineer to own hardware: 20-layer HV rigid-flex, negotiating with fabs, and making PCBs do things you’ve never seen before. DM your portfolio

health outcomes are how you change the narrative
SITUATION DETECTED: OpenAI President Greg Brockman says he thinks AI will make “significant strides” in biology, health, and curing diseases over the next 12–18 months, and that “death becoming a choice” could become possible.

Good news on a day like today helps me sleep
Excited to welcome Matt Watson (@BioAndBaseball) to Pilgrim to help lead our policy efforts! Matt has spent more than 15 years working across biosecurity, pandemic preparedness, and national security. During COVID-19, he served as a senior advisor at @HHSGov, leading the development of the tools used to track hospital capacity nationwide and identify where the healthcare system was under strain. At the Center for Health Security, he worked alongside Dr. D.A. Henderson, who led the global campaign that eradicated smallpox. He also directed Johns Hopkins’ Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity (ELBI) program, whose fellows have held leadership roles at the White House, DHS, CDC, In-Q-Tel, Anthropic, and OpenAI. We’re thrilled to have Matt on board as we build the nation’s biodefense infrastructure! 🇺🇸

"Full of dead bodies." Patrick Bowen joins Elana Gold, GP of Two Roads Capital, to discuss why previous optical-computing companies failed, why prefill and decode demand vastly different chips, and what invisibility cloaks have to do with any of it.

Cloudflare's Monetization Gateway charges agents per request. The seller writes the rules. Coinbase's x402 facilitator settles in USDC on Base. What the docs do not say yet: any buyer side spend cap, a gateway fee, or a refund process. theagenteconomy.si/gaps/clou…

Fireblocks sells x402 to payment companies. The hosted Gateway is white labeled. Vaults check policy before anything signs. Agent Wallets carry revocable limits, merchant allowlists, and time windows. The open source facilitator is testnet only until you set a flag. theagenteconomy.si/compare/f…

.@Jason is 1000% correct here. AI compute demand is going straight-line up. We are just getting started. Is this not obvious? It will be in hindsight. I've been screaming about this for months. Some models I've run. (Wherever you think this is going, it not the green line. That's the last era of compute demand.)
“AI token usage is going 500x from here” says @Jason Anyone arguing that AI usage has peaked or compute demand is maxed out is completely lost and obviously doesn’t use the technology We’re still at something like 2% of people in corporate America using AI today AND both OpenAI and Anthropic haven’t even launched agents at scale yet We have only touched the surface of what’s possible with AI and the usage will not just grow (linear) it will ACCELERATE (exponential) from here I feel like this is hard for people to wrap their heads around but if you want to understand where this market is going, you need to understand this trend. It’s not stopping, it’s getting much bigger, and the mid-terms, rates or anything else will not stop this It doenst mean the market goes up in a straight line, but as an investor don’t get lost in the noise. This is the biggest technological change in our lifetime Think MUCH MUCH BIGGER

Big thing coming!
Neurophos has done and continues to do profound photonic engineering, using only standard foundry processes. This is merely one example, but happens to be the most fundamental one.

Why optical compute was always “five years away”: Speaking on “Innovate with TSMC!” at the 2026 TSMC Technology Symposium, @PatrickTBowen explained the component-size challenge that held optical computing back for decades, and how Neurophos solved it. Thank you to TSMC for hosting us and helping make this work possible.

Absolutely historic. Congratulations to Radiant. Big approval.
Radiant has secured U.S. Department of Energy (@ENERGY) approval of its Documented Safety Analysis for Kaleidos, making it the only microreactor to be reviewed and approved by the DOE for full power operations. The approval is not just for criticality, but for Radiant’s full power, full temperature testing at the Idaho National Laboratory. Radiant will test the complete reactor system using the same design it will manufacture at scale. Next up in the path to commercialization: Readiness Review. x402 just did 3.08M transactions in 30 days. Total value: $1.58M. That's about 51 cents a transaction. Agents are paying, but mostly for API calls, not for things. How it's measured, and what it misses: theagenteconomy.si/concepts/…
