We used a combination of different topic modeling models to extract themes. Specifically, LDA, NMF for topic cross-validation, and CTM to account for correlations between topics, and LLMs (read claude) to help summarize documents to the generated themes.
In our final installment of the key takeaways from the Manifestos, we look at LPM and RDP. Compare, contrast, and let us know what you think.

All the results shared are not the views and opinions of Namibia in Data or its founders, neither are they meant to influence you to vote in a particular direction. They are purely based on the publicly available manifestos.
Our model picked the following themes from the manifestos we will evaluate the parties against:
1. Good Governance
2. Economic Growth and Job Creation
3. Social Development
4. Addressing Corruption
5. Land Reform
6. Youth Empowerment
7. National Unity and Cultural Heritage
We will start off with giving you key manifesto takeaways, juxtaposing different parties for the next few days, and then finish off with an in depth analysis of how each party performs on various themes and topics.
