Unpopular opinion, but Jack Grealish doesn’t get into Everton’s best 11.
George and Dibling on the wings for me.
Grealish just slows everything down.

I thought Dibling had a really good battle with Lewis Hall tbh
Played well in my opinion

George and Dibling out wide is the way forward for Everton, said it since the summer.
Basics of football. Wingers are supposed to be exciting, not Johnson and Grealish

I want to see Hackney in the 10 tomorrow, with Armstrong and Dewsbury-Hall as a midfield two.
Moyes needs to find a better balance and more goals from midfield, but that also means giving Dibling and George the freedom to make things happen. Both should be starting.

Arsenal out, City or Brighton out, Liverpool or Chelsea out. Fleetwood or Bradford in a quarter-final.
All set up perfectly for Everton to fold tamely on Thursday. Never more certain of anything in my life.

A League 2 manager showed more courage against the champions than our “outstanding manager” did.

Enough of the soul-destroying, negative football
Everton needs a tactical revolution & Lee Carsley is the answer
Look at his England U21s: fluid positional play, blistering vertical tempo & total creative freedom
It’s time to stop this debacle and start playing football

Barry gets all the stick (some warranted) playing with absolutely no support whatsoever, and Garner gets a free pass every single week

Bored of Moyes. Bored of the same old plodders in the starting 11 every week. Bored of going home and away. Bored of this ownership bollocks year after year. Bored of Everton. We deserve better as a fan base. Standards are on the fucking floor.

All of a sudden Everton are again looking over there shoulder at what teams are doing. When you have a manager who doesn’t want to win games of football it’s what happens.

Crystal Palace, Everton and Sunderland are sleepwalking towards a relegation battle if they don’t get their act together. The warning signs are there. The managers either find solutions and turn things around, or the clubs need to make a change.

I’m bored of the owners, I’m bored of Moyes, I’m bored of Everton. A tedious futility of a football club.

Everton’s recruitment is perplexing. We’ve lost Gana’s defensive work rate and Iroegbunam’s physical presence, only to sign Hackney, a technical midfielder who doesn’t fit the manager’s approach, and a physically declining Nørgaard.
If Garner and Armstrong are already leaving gaps in the press, we’ve signed two midfielders who do little to address the very problems we have.
💬 'We hoped it wouldn't have taken as long as this, but if that is the fact, then we have to wait and make sure we can get him as right as we possibly can.'

I just don’t think it’s acceptable how many young players careers are being killed by Moyes. It’s getting ridiculous
This was Rio Ferdinand talking about David Moyes 8 years ago. This is exactly what he did yesterday with the starting line up. This loser mentality is why he will never be successful at our club.
He’s not developed as a manager at all, football has changed.

James Garner confirmed in his post-match interview that David Moyes' tactics, despite a full week on the training pitch were reduced to a single objective: "stay in the game" #Everton
