You re not allowed to use your aql. So you are last person who should be talking about IQ. Same can be said for those who follwed ibn taymiyah bc their teachers or family followed them for generations. We don't follow individuals, we follow generations of scholarship.

I think you comprehension issues. I used his logic against him.

What makes you think you follow the Salaf?

Salafis calling Ash'aris 'Christian' is pure Netanyahu-level projection: accusing others of what you do. Ash'aris uphold God's transcendence, while Salafis literally give Him hands, eyes, and a body like Christians do.

With your interpretation, same can be said for Taymis and followers of ibn Abdulwahab.

Comparing Asharis with pagans when you teach from their work💀
What does that say about you lol

Imagine accusing a muslim of shirk.

Did you expect Ibn Abidin to include ibn Abdulwahab's Social Security Number? He lived 44 years after Ibn Abdulwahab and called his name and birthplace. Are you also gonna make excuses for mufti of Mecca Shaykh Ahmed Zayni Dahlan or As Sawi al Maliki?
There is, look at works of Imam Ahmad and Ibn Jawzi and compare it to Ibn Taymiyah and Ibn Al Qayyim.
That is why famous commanaries on sahih bukhari and muslim is written by ashari/maturidi like Ibn Hajar, Nawawi, Qasallani, Zakariya Ansari, Badr din Ayni, Qadi Iyad, Al Qurtubi.

Did you even read the sharh of ibn izz? Read his footnotes son.

Even your Salafi shaykh, Salih Al ash-Shaykh, said he is a Maturidi in most of his positions. Al-Alusi's brother, Abdul-Hamid, wrote a commentary on the Maturidi poem Bad' al-Amali. Also, praising Ibn Taymiyyah doesn't mean you're a Salafi by default.

It does. They push Ibn ‘Izz’s sharh to fit Salafi creed, but the base text already aligns with ours without any sharh.
Read his sharh on #45/46:
"He is Exalted above limits, ends, limbs, or tools. He is not contained by six directions.

Al-Tahawi is more in line with al Maturidi than with the Salafiyah. Just this line refutes salafi aqidah:
وَتَعَالَى عَنِ الْحُدُودِ وَالْغَايَاتِ وَالْأَرْكَانِ وَالْأَعْضَاءِ وَالْأَدَوَاتِ لَا تَحْوِيهِ الْجِهَاتُ السِّتُّ كَسَائِرِ الْمُبْتَدَعَاتِ

Tahawiyah does contract salafi aqidah. Thats why you all refer to ibn izz bc he had similar beliefs as ibn Taymiyah. This line refutes you.

Which deviants hijacked the madhab? In fiqh you have marghinani, nasafi, ibn abidin. In usul you have bazdawi, sarakhsi, ibn humam. All of them were maturidi. In fact salafi islamqa.info uses them as reference. You're cutting off the branch you're sitting on.
