There's something even weirder. For the Gov race, Marist lists 2% undecideds among registered voters. But that jumps to 6% among likely voters! That literally doesn't make sense. You shouldn't have a 3x increase in undecideds in a LV sample; typically, the percentage gets lower.

Just for the record:
Our final poll of 2024 had Slotkin up 3.7 percentage points, importantly with a significant 6.7% still undecided. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…
This poll has El-Sayed up 6.3 points, with only 3.6% undecided. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…

We’re one week out from Election Day and there’s TON to keep track of.
Lakshya, Zach & I are doing our best to follow all of the news, polls & early voting trends in every state & district. And Armin has been 100% heads down on Texas.
Come nerd out with us tonight at 8:30pm ET!
Excited to announce that @lxeagle17, @Thorongil16, @admcrlsn, and I will host three X Spaces ahead of next Tuesday’s midterm elections to discuss polling, forecasts, early voting, and more. We’ll also take your questions along the way.
We’ll stay flexible on topics, but here’s the rough plan:
Tuesday, October 27 | 8:30–10 p.m.
We’ll break down the state of play in the House and Senate, national polling, demographic trends, and the persuasion and turnout dynamics we’re watching.
Friday, October 30 | 8:30–10 p.m.
With early voting nearly complete across most key states, we’ll discuss what we’ve learned, including a close look at Texas with @Thorongil16. We’ll also talk about what the emerging electorate means for whom candidates need to persuade to win.
Monday, November 2 | 7:30 p.m. – ???
Our final thoughts, a breakdown of key races, and what to watch as results come in Tuesday night. We’ll help you get ready to follow election night like a pro.

I try to avoid criticizing other pollsters much nowadays, but this is ridiculous. This is basically just what you do if you don't believe your polls and don't have the guts to stand by your numbers. Democrats aren't doing 7% worse with likely voters in 2026.

Alright. My plan is to release the re-scored Mass Effect Universe trailer for N7 Day. A little tight, since I'm a bit busy pitching for a new game, but I'll see what I can do! I don't wanna rush it, and I want it to properly represent my musical vision for MEU.

Jayson Tatum is and has been one of the best clutch time players in the NBA since he entered it in 2017. The only people who refute this objective fact are those who just try and pretend his career doesn't exist

This is pretty much what we're seeing everywhere re: under 45s but its mostly coming from a big, gaping turnout differential this year. I have never seen anything like it in my 9 years of analyzing elections. Ever.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

IDK, it seems like certain pollsters are concerned their samples are too D, maybe for good reasons and maybe not, and are using their likely voter models to curb that.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to make a longer, more polished statement on the Wedgewood mess as opposed to fragmented individual tweets. I felt like it was necessary to provide a longer explanation to fully explain my point of view and involvement with Wedgewood. This is not a legal statement, but I never knowingly participated in any deception
For starters, I wanted to apologize directly for any affiliation I held with Wedgewood, whether that is promoting their fundraisers, or even by simply having them on my website. I could easily deflect by saying that Wedgewood was featured in the aggregates or so on, however the way I live my life revolves around one quote from Benjamin Franklin: "he that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else." It is my fault, and my fault alone, for promoting Wedgewood, and for that I am truly sorry.
I will put it simply: I trusted Wedgewood, and when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. I trusted him enough to take his word that he was a 20-something college student at Boston University, and I believed he was a friend of mine to the point where I made ill-advised tweets saying that I "knew him personally" and that I "knew his identity," when in reality he was a sad, obese, far-right man from Ohio named Andrew who has a history of doxxing others over petty disagreements. Simply put, it is my fault and my fault alone for being gullible enough to trust his word on who he was to where I was willing to compromise my reputation by saying he was a legitimate pollster.
Finally, this whole thing makes me deeply sad. When I began my website, I simply wanted to have a place to share my election predictions: and it has grown into something much bigger than that, thanks solely due to the fact that tens of thousands of people trust me. Never in a million years did I ever want to read a tweet calling me an "evil person" over unwittingly promoting a fake pollster. I accept that this trust has been broken by my own gullibility, and I will do everything I can to rebuild that trust going forward.
To that end, while I was not affiliated with the Wedgewood Nebraska poll beyond its promotion, I believe this accountability requires more than words. Therefore, I am offering to personally refund, out of my own pocket, anyone who donated to the Wedgewood Nebraska poll. If you would like to request a refund, please fill out this form and I will be in touch with you: electindex.com/wedgewood

The whole reason that Wedgewood slipped through, though, is that it was founded by two people with an actual history of real polling work. It had all the hallmarks of a real, albeit startup and untested, polling operation. That's the more troublesome part.
