Repeatedly pushing someone past their limit so you can weaponize their reaction and paint yourself as the victim is calculated, cowardly, and pure evil.
H.E PK speaks so well with the youths, with a clear message. – at Apac, Uganda
"Whatever you do, wherever you are, don't waste time. Learn, work, and make the effort to understand what is right and what is wrong. Do what is right, and avoid what is wrong. Keep building yourself as time goes on. This requires discipline, self-control, and a clear understanding of what you are doing. And it has to be consistent. You cannot be disciplined at night and then lose that discipline during the day. You have to keep at it.
At your age, this is when your life can take one direction or another. You can come out of these years having built yourself into a better person, or the opposite. Things move very fast at this stage of life. You can either build yourself or destroy yourself. It's never too late. Even when you realise that you have lost something along the way, perhaps because you were carried away by emotions or the easy things in life, and you lost your way, whenever you come to your senses, remember that there is still time to turn things around and build a better life. Don't give up and say it is too late, that the damage has already been done. Even when things have gone too far, they can still be put right. Never give up." I have employed young people (mainly S1-S4), but I am disappointed.
You train them, give them a sense of direction through counseling sessions & civic orientation, pay them decently but for most of them, their motivation lies elsewhere.
They drink 80% of their salary. The rest is on airtime & food. You spend most of your time attending to complaints from their families all about neglect.
Their sense of responsibility is zero.
While most people say they are paid little money, no one has come out to put heads together on how we can save a generation of irresponsible people who’s anticipation is to receive salary, disappear from duty, and attempt to reappear after they have drank it all silly.

Some people are not failing to plan for the future. Their present is demanding so much attention that they have little capacity left to plan.

If you want to go far in life, learn to be bored ,silent, and alone. Let silence be your general rule,or say only what is necessary and in few words.EKS.

Replying to @aaronebwola
@aaronebwola, we've in our ranks, mental health experts willing to reach out to people (pro-bono) and debunk the myths that compound depression arising from multidimensional life challenges. I highly recommend that within your weekly talk shows, you give an opportunity (twice or thrice a week) to @Ocomboni2 who is a mental health professional to offer support or ways of acquiring support to many people crushing silently under the weight of depression and other mental health issues.
We could save so many lives through these little partnerships. This proposal is open for consideration by any radio station.
Hoping you consider it.

Would you be willing to host me for conversation about men opening up in your radio show? – at Uganda

Her brother died of depression and she is appealing to men to normalise asking for help during hardships in life but the fact is that most men would rather die in silence than ask for help because society expects men to be strong.

There’s something I admire about the Catholic Church. The Pope is sick, he went through successful surgery, and everything’s out in the open, no lies, no faking miracles like some evangelical churches. I’m not religious, but the Catholic Church is the most organized and transparent religious institution.

See how transparent the Catholic Church is about the Pope's surgery.
No faking a miracle. A successful surgery is a miracle.
