It is completely possible to stage and film an ensemble of actors doing nothing but talking in a way that is not only coherent, but dynamic and interesting and adds value narratively & visually. The avengers are billion dollar movies! we should be holding them to standards!!

I originally included some action examples but then realized I should narrow the scope of this just to specifically being in a space and talking because that’s the example from OP and also a different skillset than staging & blocking action.

I like to do themed reads such as AAPI month or pride month. But due to illness and moving, I totally missed Latine Heritage Month. I think I’ll do it in December. Nov is when I focus on Indigenous authors and I have a few books lined up already!

You guys underestimate how dangerous people actually are. People get killed for honking at cars. It doesn’t matter your tone, intentions, etc. you never really know when people are ready to go out and they have no problem taking others with them

There’s a really fancy restaurant near my apartment and I joked with my dad about the price of the entrees and he said we could go there for my 30th birthday. But I don’t eat in restaurants anymore. I know this is a really small thing but my world has just shrunk so much.

This was really apparent to me at my grammas celebration of life because she had so many people there, she had such a big life and community. 86 years old and was living a more vibrant, active life than I am.
