When powerlines are down for weeks, you're Off-Grid whether you like it or not. Solar + V2H + Biofuel from waste provides reliable energy for critical functions

Agreed. It's great that X allows text space for such a nuanced/balanced approach. Grok finds credible links. Social media such as @bluesky doesn't allow enough text space for nuance and credible links, thereby driving division, silo-ing, extremism and hate. I'm hoping they emulate X by providing space for nuance. Twitter used to be like that too. So many exchanges consisted of angry extremists calling each other LibTards and Nazis. There's a huge amount of useful information about protected cycle lanes on Bluesky. Charlie Kirk supported cycling for kids. E-assist cycles are also great for adults who want to combine exercise with commutes and saving money.

Narrow, ultralight single-seat or tandem e-assist Robotaxis that can ride on protected cycling networks are needed to counter hysterical traffic congestion claims. They can deliver packages, hot meals and groceries during off-peak hours to counter "empty cycle lane" claims and help pay capital cost.

Automation makes health care more affordable however it's paid for. Preventive health care is the best health care. Allowing cops to immediately arrest super speeders and red light runners and impound their vehicles can prevent millions of traffic injuries per year. The majority of severe traffic injuries and deaths are caused by a small minority of incompetent drivers.

The fact that agricultural, transportation, medical and other automation has quickly lifted China out of poverty needs to be studied by psychopaths who oppose automation. Productivity creates wealth. Featherbedding causes poverty, suffering, and death.

Should mount a small ultralight 3D-printed carbon fiber version on a delivery trike or quad for delivery of packages, hot meals & groceries. teapawt.net/aj_hugs/status/2082145… geniemobility.ai

Why do you not understand that in the real world, drivers are distracted by speed limit signs, other signs, entertainment systems, prescription drugs, street drugs, phones, etc. Even voice activated sound systems distract drivers. Boredom often causes drivers to fall asleep at the wheel. Passengers who demand instant answers as drivers are in the midst of making left turns while simultaneously looking out for pedestrians and other vehicles--are also a distraction. Autonomous vehicles with multiple cameras can focus in multiple directions simultaneously. Human drivers can't do that. Large side mirrors obstruct forward vision. Small side mirrors don't show blind spots. It takes time for human vision to refocus from distant objects to side mirrors and vice versa. Autonomous vehicles can instantly react to toddlers, drunks, stoners, or pets wandering on dark roads and transmit warnings to other vehicles. Human drivers can't do that.

Shared autonomous enclosed mobility scooter taxis with heating & cooling are needed for blind folks in extreme weather conditions. Also, kneeling buses with fold-away seats that accommodate autonomous enclosed mobility scooters with air filters to protect immunocompromised folks. Steep bus ramps are dangerous. Kneeling buses that facilitate level access by mobility scooters, wheelchairs, baby carriages, strollers, heavy wheeled luggage, and wheeled delivery bots are far safer and more practical. All can work together to also deliver hot meals, groceries and packages during off-peak hours.

Even Marx insisted skilled workers are more valuable than unskilled workers. If unskilled workers are paid the same as skilled workers, there's no motivation to acquire skills and keep them up to date. Marx understood that industrialization meant old skills became obsolete. He didn't anticipate that AI-assisted telelearning plus free interactive educational videos tailored to each person's needs could teach new skills very quickly. Many older workers with memory retention problems or longstanding learning disabilities have trouble learning new skills. This can be addressed by breaking learning down learning into microlessons. It's not feasible for workers to travel back and forth to distant classrooms for 10 minute microlessons. Microlessons need to done in workplaces, satellite schools, or at home. Here's an example of teaching old people new skills. It works best with large touchscreen computers. Older people often don't have the manual dexterity to push tiny buttons on phones or the visual acuity to look at tiny screens. I've taught elderly relatives who have never used computers before how to use touch screen computers. What works best is to look over their shoulder in person or remotely via hi-res webcam and very SLOWLY tell them which button to push next to perform a specific task. This approach utilizes muscle memory as well as regular memory. A keyboard that has been modified to light up the correct button with green or blue is helpful.

Cost before taxes is more meaningful. Capital cost of wind turbines is less than capital cost of fission. That said, local vertical solar that sheds snow plus local sodium batteries are a good investment for charging EVs of all sizes and types. EVs with V2L, V2H or V2G provide power for critical and priority loads during grid failures.

Helping the elderly, sick & disabled live at home as long as possible costs orders of magnitude less than institutionalizing them--no matter who pays for it. Also produces superior outcomes. Modern technology makes that far more feasible vs the recent past. In traditional multi-generation households, grandparents helped babysit children. Older children also helped. As grandparents got older, grandchildren assisted them with everyday chores. Now, families are fragmented geographically, by gender theory, and cultivated intergenerational envy. Children are dumped in expensive government daycare centers to be indoctrinated as soon as possible and abused by angry, entitled, Marxist daycare workers. Grandparents are taxed out of their homes to pay for expensive institutionalization where they are again at risk of abuse, up to and including constant euthanasia pressure in some countries.
